GEMSONA AU? IN MY 2025?

yeup! this time of my roach killer band guys. the most functional group of individuals homeworld has ever seen!

some SU/fangem exploration for the Roach Killer band kids me and my friend have been playing with. a bit of personal lore, but I used to be HUUUUGE on SU. made gemsonas my whole brand for years and adored the series and fandom! met so many wonderful friends I cherish to this day because of it. and reconnecting with my dormant interest… IS AWESOME!!!

for this AU, I’ll list some lore below. subject to change as it’s still new hehe.

brainwashed by homeworld and has surrendered autonomy to them since emerging, essentially 💔

his weapon is a battle axe.

a royal transporter for blue diamond. hauls special cargo and chauffeurs elite gems in his own personal spacecraft.

a tier above quartzes. is granted access to high-level areas to some extent due to his occupation.

another quartz soldier under yellow diamond. saved by hematoid post-war and since then serves as hematoid’s second-in-command. they go way back!

with that being said, the two tend to butt heads.

fiery/explosive personality. strives for control but can’t quite control himself.

This little guy just joined my collection, and I want to show him off!

This is a gemstone known as eisenkiesel, a name which means "iron pebble." You'll also often see it called ferrunginous quartz or hematoid quartz - all names which basically just mean "quartz with iron in it." Eisenkiesel is a variety of quartz which gets its deep red color from a ridonculously high iron content, mostly in the form of hematite inclusions. There is so much iron that it makes the clear quartz completely opaque!

This piece is extra cool because he is double terminated, meaning the crystal formed with a point on both ends!

Red Hematite Quartz

Also referred to as “Hematoid Quartz” or even just “Red Quartz,” Red Hematite Quartz is a variety of Quartz with a Hematite coating. It can be seen crystallized in masses, nodules, clusters, druzy, as well as inclusions within existing Quartz. The color of crystallized Hematite is predominantly red, but can also be seen as dark as maroon, burgundy and brown. This is an extremely rare stone to come by, and you can tell whether a piece is genuine by how dense the stone feels along with other factors like where it was sourced.

Red Hematite Quartz possesses an EXTREMELY powerful energy, and it is not a stone for beginners. Some often liken it to Moldavite because of its “in your face” vibrational energy and the power it holds to completely transform your life through expansion of the higher consciousness.
