I prefer female, but I also like unisex names, my favorite season is fall, especially when it is still a little warm out but the leaves have started changing, I actually have a lot of Welsh in me, but my name is Russian. I was born in Alaska on a Russian holiday.

Your Welsh name is Aeron, pronounced EYE-ron, which can be male or female.  In Welsh, aeronen is a fruit or berry, and aeron means “berries.”  It is the name of a river in Ceredigion.

This is an old name that is thought to have originated with a river goddess of battle.  It was also the name of an ancient Celtic kingdom, when the Welsh ancestors spread far out into northern England and southern Scotland, the place known as the Hen Ogledd, or Old North.

Aeron calls to mind the turn of the seasons from summer to autumn, that threshold time of harvest which is still warm but which looks towards the symbolic death of the earth coming over the horizon.
