The thing I love so far about our Old Man (Toxic) Yaoi in The Scarecrow series is that the bad guy between the two actually does Not Good™ things. Cha Siyong cannot ask forgiveness (not yet) but he wants Park Hae Soo's character by his side at all costs so he does some good then does some Not Good things that put them back two steps. He hates the idea of them being brothers but being friends is good. He puts his sister in trouble but remembers the sweets she liked as a child even though he was never told directly.
When everyone goes like "You never said you guys were classmates" to each other, why does it always read like 'Didn't know you guys were Exes'
They say stuff to each other like "Why did you do that to me back then" "But I'm trying to treat you better now" Park Hae Soo's cute distraught voice and his body language in that scene. Awwaaaaaaaaa
