At three that afternoon when Allison got off work she headed over to Alannah’s as discussed that morning. Her job had demanded a lot of her that day and she was tired, but she loved working as a nurse assistant, as exhausting as it could be. Knocking on Alannah’s door, she waited for the girl to come to the door. She was eager to hear about the girl’s life as of late and to spend some time with her. @herblindingfaith

It was Friday morning before Dakota had to go to work and before Emma’s daycare when Dakota texted Alannah and asked if she wanted to come over and maybe bring over her dogs. Emma loved animals and Dakota wanted to entertain her before her dad picked her up that evening. Cleaning up a bit, putting Emma’s toys into the toy chest, she heard the knock at the door and called, “Just a minute!” before Emma toddled over to the door. She tended to do that. Dakota was just glad that the child couldn’t reach the top lock on the door and open it. “Baby, come here.” She picked her daughter up and opened the door, letting Alannah and the two dogs into the apartment. “Hey. “I’m serious, he thought I was twelve. It was super embarrassin’.” Though now she was laughing about it, in the moment the tiny female had been mortified. “I don’t even think he knew who Shania Twain was. That’s what I get for tryin’a flirt.” Hands resting on the island in the middle of her kitchen, Ember lost herself to giggles once more, pushing the plate of fresh cookies across to her friend. “Okay, ‘nough ‘bout me and my borin’ life, let me live vicariously through you!”

Greyson was on a coffee run this morning. There was no coffee in the house, and he’d forgotten to get some the last time he’d been grocery shopping. He didn’t much feel like taking the car just to shop for coffee, so he took a morning stroll to Cuppa Joe’s to buy himself a bag of coffee, and probably a cup to go. Ordering his coffee, and paying for the bag he was going to buy, he then moved to the other end of the counter. Before he could grab the coffee that the barista served up, another took it before him. His eyebrows furrowed slightly. “Uh, I think you’ve got the wrong coffee there...” He spoke to the person beside him.

Gyda had spotted the brunette from across the way and smiled at her waving her over as she downed her drink and grabbed another. “Hey! Alannah!” She smiled wrapping an arm around the other’s shoulder’s gently. “How have you been we haven’t caught up in a long time?” // @herblindingfaith

Viggo had heard the begging from both Jilly and Addie now and with the new house coming around soon he finally broke down. He sighed as he walked in the door and nodded at Alannah. She knew enough about dog’s after all owning her own. “Alright, nothing giant. Just something small enough for Jilly, that won’t get big. We don’t need a great dane running around.” He teased as they prepared to walk through the adoption center. // @herblindingfaith

Siggy and Emma were walking back home after her dance class. She was listening to what all had happened in class with Emma and giggling at her jokes until she started chaining down the sidewalk and only making her mother laugh more. It was then that she saw Alannah coming down the sidewalk and rushed up to stop Emma from turning into her. “Hey there. Haven’t seen you in a while.” She said with a smile, her fingers running through Emma’s hair. // @herblindingfaith
