@heropartnerweek Day Two: Hero Swap

My Current PMD Sky Team having a goofy swap with the team I found on my Blue Rescue Team cartridge that I THOUGHT I deleted. But no they were literally chilling in Sky Tower. More info below!

Just in case anyone is curious about names, items, etc. I made these real quick! Only one name was actually kept as its original, which was Captor, because the others had either my name or a name that just wouldn't make sense.

Also shout out to myself for giving Oscar hair. I don't know what made me do that.

Your take on a villain/hero swap au for dc? Some characters or all characters, whichever you prefer

Gunna focus this more on villians of Gotham (with a side dish of Bats) because I love me some L a d s

So, Pamela ‘Poison Ivy’ Isley is a hero who has long since given up the pretence of a secret identity - the green skin in particular made it hard to keep one. With a strong connection to the Green, she wants to help clean up Gotham; to rid it of its pollution. Though, all of that is overshadowed by her determination to take down the Bat. Batman is a parasite on Gotham; leeching onto and destroying its residents. Gotham is her city and Ivy will not see it fall to him. Luckily for her, her girlfriends - Harleen and Selina - are in total agreement.

I don’t see Harley becoming a hero in this AU. Instead, Dr Harleen Quinzel is one of the top rated psychiatrists at Arkham Asylum. She’s compassionate and does what she can to help all of her patients. Though, behind the scenes, she has been helping her girlfriends in their fight against the Bat. She reviews footage of his actions; his patterns as she tries to help pin down who exactly the is. Though, Harleen can’t help but doubt herself as all signs begin to point towards Bruce Wayne. The guy is a philanthropist who regularly donates to the asylum! He couldn’t be Batman...Could he?

Catwoman seems to toe the line between hero and anti-hero on the regular. A supposedly ‘reformed’ catburgular, Selina regularly helps Ivy on her quest to take down the Bat. Though, some of her old thieving ways still have a habit of shining through - after all, the rich don’t really need so many thrivously possessions. Whilst Selina Kyle’s secret identity isn’t public, many have put the pieces together about her being Catwoman.

Despite his physical appearance and the fact his alias is ‘Killer Croc’, Waylon Jones isn’t a bad guy. He has a lot of care and compassion - particularly in regards to recovering addicts. More than once, he has found himself sponsoring recovering addicts - most notably a particular Roy Harper. I know this is canon already but I love it so much. Waylon focuses heavily on a crackdown on Gotham’s drug industry and is a strong advocate when it comes to destigmstising addiction in order to make it easier for addicts to receive the help they need.

Harvey Dent is far more than just a DA. He is a man dedicated to putting Batman away for good; for getting justice for every one of his victims. His compassion and strive for justice place him as being a much loved public figure and a much hated figure by Gotham’s underworld. Whilst he doesn’t entirely agree with vigilantism, he has been known to pass information along to Gotham’s vigilantes via Dr. Quinzel. He may not agree with the concept of vigilantism but Harvey knows deep down that it is needed to keep Gotham safe.

Batman is no Dark Knight. Instead, he is Gotham city’s biggest nightmare. Whilst Bruce Wayne may seem like a charming and charismatic billionaire playboy by day, by night he becomes something far more terrifying. Batman is the personification of Bruce’s rage and he will gladly take it out on any who seem ‘worthy’ - irregardless of whether or not they truly are innocent or guilty. Whilst he has been defeated before, no hero has successfully managed to take him into custody. As young sidekicks start to appear by his side, the heroes’ drive to stop Batman only grows stronger.

Shouto Todoroki will have to stick with TERRA (Yeah, I know, WTF? They are pretty much the contrary since he is a total pro and she doesn`t control her powers very well, but I refuse to give him Raven because that`s soo Tokoyami).

Idea for a Story #1

Idea for a fanfic/video game: a mario and sonic world swap story, aka mario ends up on Mobius while Sonic ends up in the mushroom kingdom, and hijinks ensue. An unoriginal idea I'm sure, but in all my time on the internet, I've only ever seen art or jokes made about the idea, and no one attempting to make a story around the idea, let alone playing it at least semi-straight in said story (maybe I just haven't looked hard enough). So, I want to at least think out loud about the idea; a semi-believable premise to set it up, how mario and sonic's approaches to heroing would work in the other's worlds, how they'd handle their villains and vice versa, etc.

Premise: Eggman and Bowser are both attempting to reach out into other universes (one via science and other via magic), coincidentally at the same time and for different reasons (Eggman wants to harvest resources from other universes to help further his next big plan to take over Mobius; Bowser wants to find a new ultimate power to give him the extra edge he needs to beat mario). Both heroes attempt to intervene, and while they ultimately thwart their plans, they get sent through the villains' interdimensional gateways at the same time before said gateways explode, naturally ending up in the other protag's worlds. hijinks ensue as each hero has to adapt to their new environments, make new friends, thwarts their new enemies, and ultimately find a way back home.

Sonic vs Bowser: --Sonic's speed would be insane here; I can't think of anything that Bowser could do to outspeed or slow him down; Bowser may be strong and bulky, but that means nothing if he can't hit his target, so he'd have to fight a lot smarter just to get the opportunity to gain an advantage in a fight. --Sonic doesn't actually kill; breaks robots sure, but he always makes sure the animals inside are ok; this could open up an interesting interaction where Sonic is defeating all of Bowser's minions non-lethally, which could be its own challenge; He'd certainly be shocked when he sees Luigi, Toad, and even the princesses just straight up murdering the koopa army.

Mario vs Eggman: --Mario is a lot more durable than sonic, but also much slower; able to take a lot more hits, but probably couldn't escape traps that were calibrated for Sonic's speed, so eggman may try to kill him with booby traps more than direct confrontation (though mario vs metal sonic would be a fun boss battle) --Mario is straight up willing to kill, much to everyone's shock, but thankfully most of eggman's minions are robots...but they have animals inside, so could still be problematic; eggman would play more strategically than usual, opting to stay further away from Mario when fighting compared to when he fights sonic, as unlike sonic, Mario will go for the killing blow if given the opportunity

That's all I really got on the idea so far, but the overarching story would definitely be Tails working to recreate Eggman's portal for Mario, while Sonic would get help from...idk who, honestly, to create a magical gateway to get him back. Let me know y'all's thoughts on how this idea could be fleshed out more, like how maybe since there aren't any mushroom on mobius, and/or rings in the mushroom kingdom, both protags might only have one hit before dying, or maybe how the different power ups would differ or not differ when given to the other protag. Tons of potential with this idea in my opinion
