this is immensely cursed but in straight tpp jet is into buddy who is a lesbian but he figures if he is insistent enough he can make her realize that he is a better choice. When she gets together with Vespa he is high key transphobic and says that Vespa managed to turn her straight by calling herself a woman. This is portrayed as a valid opinion and you are supposed to feel bad for him.
This one... this one might be the worst.
Quanyii being genderfluid is more the writers ranting about the 'evils of cross dressing' and is set as her tricking people into thinking she's a het man
