currently there's a typhoon that's been happening since yesterday so i drew hanako being carried away by the typhoon flood because it pissed me off

trying to get thru my horribly numb-brained day by reminding myself that in hungarian being exhausted can be expressed with "i dont even know if im a boy or a girl" and how thats really funny to use when you are not in fact, a boy or a girl

okok ok lets be logical. if, IF, the bucks were separated by that nasty hotdog it would be so don can gain nick, and he wants to do it by incapacitating matt. nick is historically the smart buck who can tell when something is wrong. he may have to go along with some plan and do singles matches (which he has done before! they aren’t entirely unheard of), but I imagine it’s because the stakes are protecting matt/defending them as a team etc etc. I think if they ran this as a storyline it would be an uncomfortable separation adding to their current misery, not a feud. although they had all those little hints at there being disharmony between them they appeared to resolve that (my thought was that it was the lead up to them renaming the trigger, the main thing causing them to be out of sync) and I don’t think either of them would turn on each other regardless of the reason. and although none of us want them to be split up, a terrible awful separation for a match or maybe a few wouldn’t be them breaking up. don apparently wants nick because he wants yet another top athlete and nick has just been named the best guy you could possibly have, better than don’s current favourite boy and the one he discarded. it’s not like his goal is hurting the bucks emotionally, it’s just getting matt out of the way so nick has to perform alone.

like, outside of kayfabe their goal is tag team longevity — not being apart, not being with other guys. but never separating has also been because they needed each other’s support and wouldn’t have ever wanted to do all the travelling and working without each other. they didn’t want any of that success or what they were building to not involve each other. but if they did want to try a separation storyline they’re in the safest, best place to do it and at a point in their career where they could do it without it really mattering (to them. not to us. eurgh). they’d get to run it entirely themselves, bte is back so they have that for additional storytelling now. I have not trusted them since matt said he wanted them to drop the titles in a beat down or to never do a superkick again or to cut their hair. he’s been itching to do a shock upset. I personally still don’t think they’d ever want to ruin their longevity and what they have, but if they wanted to some extent run a storyline where circumstance comes between them..I suppose it would be interested along with being upsetting. they’ve been entertaining us with their humiliation, if they wanted revenge by upsetting us that’d be fair 🧎 they’ve played along so much with the nostalgia and suggestions online as to where they should go next with it, responding to the enthusiasm for nick to do singles might not be unrealistic. they’re just going with the good vibes and what people who enjoy them are interested in rn. we had wondered if them losing power could result in the buck vs buck match nick had wanted previously..and I wonder if they started to become separated by evil forces if it would spur other guys into action and start storylines moving with them. (and if it’s any reassurance nick is way more confident and comfy with singles, he did two whole BOSJ himself!)

and of course there is the possibility that matt legit has an injury and just needs a little time. with the ppv getting so close I think we’ll find out if this is going to be anything pretty soon, but it really could just be don going off bc of that article and nothing bigger 😖
