Does ANYONE have a decent understanding of the difference between the unhealthy seeking of attention and the healthy desire for communal validation? Is it frequency? Root motivation? Dependent on what you're seeking attention for? HOW you seek attention?

My tone is highly frustrated but I'm asking a serious question.

Context: I skew too far into "attention seeking" territory. My instinctual response to recognizing this is an issue is "Never seek attention! Ever!" and I know this is Dumb.
