I apologize in advance
So when I was in my first year of high school before I had to be online schooled because of my disability, I decided to document my classmates behavior like they were animals and I was an alien studying them. I wrote down a lot of weird stuff humans do and behavioral differences between the females and males, it was written very clinically to preserve scientific integrity as I studied strange behaviors. The males for some reason groomed their hair a lot, often by tussling it, but they seemed to not notice when they were doing it. It was strange to me how both males and females preformed the same actions yet in human social dynamics the two sexes seemed to apply arbitrary distinctions between similar sets of behaviors. I had to do a lot of spying on people from across lunch tables. I also payed attention to body language, sometimes adjusting my own to see how the other human subconsciously adjusted to it. I’d read that if they liked someone a person would subconsciously mimic the body language of the person talking to them. No one did this with me. I don’t know why.
