This week on High-Dere, Ian & Joe self quarantine and record their first ever remote show from their separate studios as the COVID-19 virus slithers it’s way into the United States. Advised by the authorities to “self-quarantine,” we test out what could be a new remote process for the show during these unknown and strange times.

We question the news medias behavior, as we often do, of spreading fear among the masses as they cover this new strain of the Coronavirus and what we can do to stay aware of the bigger picture that could be playing out as we hide in our homes under our blankets. As the toilet paper and bread aisles leave us staring at empty shelves in grocery stores across the country, we do our best to understand what is unfolding right before our very eyes as the world comes to a historical halt.

Then we discuss the primary numbers and where we expect this election season to go as the tide turns against Bernie Sanders and leans in favor of whispery “Uncle Joe” Biden. We remind our listeners of the coup that was attempted against Trump, revealed through the DNC leak, and try to make sense of the sinister chaos to come.

Lastly we breeze past the JFK assassination and laws that were changed in the aftermath of his murder and how taxpayer money is funneled through the murky and dodgy justice department.

This week on High-Dere we completely wreck the beginning of our show and rather than limp on from there, we restarted and talked about anger.

With a 180 degree turn from the first opening, this week we talked about personas and how people choose to present themselves to the world and to those around them.  Is Eminem as angry as he seems?  Does Richard Simmons suffer from emotional childhood abuse?  Did Joe and his band pay for Jared Leto's dinner one night in Dallas?

And finally, what the hell are the Barkley Marathons?  All these questions and more on this week's milestone episode of High-Dere.

This week we put on our proverbial tuxedos and hit up the red carpet to chat about this year's Oscar winners and why Michelle Tanner should completely avoid the Fuller House.

Out of the gate, we extend our right hands to congratulate Leonardo DiCaprio (Arnie Grape) for his first Oscar win for The Revenant and with the other, we take a puff and turn the Spotlight to the Academy for snubbing African American actors.  We toss ourselves into the salvage yard and discuss the infamous Netflix documentary, Making A Murderer, and if WE think Steven Avery killed Teresa Halbach.

We finish out the show by questioning the motives behind murder and what a sleeping position reveals about your personality.  All this and more on this week's High-Dere!

This week on High-Dere, Ian & Joe lay on the beach in their green aprons and attempt to ch-ch-ch-change the world one Starbucks at a time by discussing the effects of "waking" up in a world designed to keep us "asleep."

We take a step back into the early 90s to examine television then vs today while questioning the current big business trend of corporatizing communities into artificial shells.  Ian shares an interesting article which spawns our thoughts on the collective consciousness and how it's easily manipulated through the media.  Before daydreaming about the future of true spiritual freedom, we get lost in the rat race of our human history and the effects that cause fatigued members of society to "exit the game" to live in the woods.

We try our best not to bite our nails while giving an update about our Thoughtform Kickstarter campaign and passionately remind ourselves to chill our brainwaves with the sounds of Galveston beach.

High-Dere! This we get into a deep conversation about creating viral content and accidentally farting in public before veering back on track to share some very odd news about our Kickstarter campaign for our short horror film, Thoughtform.

Ian shares a story about when his dad scared the shit out of him, then we ponder how to deal with being overwhelmed, our love/hate relationship of studio theme songs and how they make impressions on our movie watching experience.  Joe talks about one of his favorite books, The Four Agreements as well as an exclusive sketch he wrote, First Cousin Twice Removed. "Rumspringa!"  

We make like the town crier and give a shout to the Amish while questioning Mos Def's defective "world" passport before having to make an emergency cut-in to give our listeners some insane and creepy last minute news about stuff that's going down in real time with our campaign.  This week is one for the books!

This week we're "hot and ready" like Little Caesar and announce the launch of our Kickstarter campaign for our short horror film, Thoughtform.  Before jumping out of the gate, we pay homage to legends David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Lemmy Kilmister who've passed away in the last month… with a little surprise visit by Severus Snape of Harry Potter!

 Nothing is safe as we debate the ridiculousness of the explosively popular Hoverboard, How to properly ride a unicycle and snapping your ankle while wearing Heelys.  We talk about the importance of flowering your creativity, Take a stroll through the evolution of The Beatles and share Joe's cover of When I'm Sixty-Four.  We get into some of the details about our Kickstarter campaign, how you can support and what all of this hard work has meant for ElfTree Media.

 Between the contemplations of mother birds throwing up in their babies mouths and the importance of raising a child without tainted titty milk, Ian shares some amazing financial advice his mum instilled within him while growing up.  We round things out by sharing the importance of nutrition, exercise and what happens when you decide to get "back on the bike" and make healthier choices.  All this and more on this weeks episode of High-Dere!

After an early morning viewing of Star Wars The Force Awakens, we sit down and celebrate 60 episodes by doing what we do best.  Chilling and talking. That’s why you love us, and what we’ve loved about 60 episodes of the show!

Starting with Tiny houses and how our trip to Texas went, we spontaneously reviewed Adele's new album 25.  3 out of 5.

And then we moved on to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  And boy was it fun!  We loved seeing Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and lightsabers again.  But where was Luke Skywalker?

We wind 2015 down with a look forward to Christmas and a look back on our favorite High-Dere moments.   And a special appearance from the birthday girl herself, Joe’s mother Gayle!
