Bases must be the same for exponents to add together.

I never write just for fun,

nor speak for them to run.

I never thought of hurting one,

nor tell a friend, "we're done"

It hurts to see them cry

knowing I am the reason why

Feeling the guilt, I wanna die

Another reason to put me on high.

I have tried to explain myself

But I was judged like a book on a shelf
