I wouldn't be surprised if Qyburn thought it would be funny to name the champion of a woman accused of having obviously-not-legitimate children and passing them off as legitimate in part after Rhaenyra's lover.
And of course as an ex-maester, Qyburn is fully educated in Westeros history. “Robert” for Robert Baratheon, “Strong” for Harwin Strong... and Qyburn gives the name to Kevan with a smile and a grandfatherly twinkle in his eye...
I remember reading a fic where Robert Strong's body was the Mountain and his head was Robb Stark's and it sounded like an interesting theory (if also really really awful!)
It’s also really really fucking stupid. (And one of several reasons I rolled my eyes at that supposed “best fic ever”, its tendency to shove in non-textual anti-thematic crack theories for shock, sigh...)

My “wombs theory” re Gregor’s revivification. (now, my theories can sometimes be shocking, but they are always heavily textually based. also fyi, trigger warning for rape and body horror and other disturbing content.) And yes, oh yes indeed.
