Alternate History as a genre is so weird to write in. I'm now so intimately aware with a small section of a random county in California's history that I have almost emailed one of the said towns in that county to inform them they have an incorrect founder listed and one figure they've listed for a particular date range wasn't alive at the time. But at the same time I'm literally just some random person who doesn't live anywhere near there, and if they're happy with their history as it's being currently presented, does it matter? Even if I were to correct them- how does one present the fact that they learned that through researching things for what effectively amounts to a creative writing project?
Starting my witchcraft class! Does this mean I can call myself a witch? Don't be fooled, this class is actually about studying hearsay and witchcraft in Europe and early America. However, I can proudly say I'm taking a witchcraft class. 🔮💫💎👻💀🐱 #witchcraft #asu #honorarywitch #historystudies #arizonastate #witch #thiswillbeinteresting (at Arizona State University, Downtown Phoenix Campus)
