hello, there 🌸 my name is mar, welcome again! the last intro post seemed rushed so i thought of properly introducing myself this time

about me

♡ i'm eighteen years old (2000's baby), a libra and an enfp.

♡ currently in my first year at university, majoring in professional graphic design. i just switched majors so i'm still technically a media student :b

♡ my native language is spanish though i feel more comfortable talking in english. in the future, i would like to learn korean, chinese and quechua, an indigenous language from my country.

♡ documentaries, podcasts and any type of medium that lets me learn stuff

♡ films, photography, theatre, literature, dancing and other expressions of fine art

♡ but dancing tops all. i love it so much i'm training every day so i could be part of a company or a group someday

After having ten snow days in two weeks, I’m a little bit behind on my online AP US History class. The class is mostly just a pain, but the possibility of college credit makes it worth it. (Except I have to get a 4 on the exam which isn’t gonna happen.)

Notes from September for my History of Text Technology class. Pretty basic information but it’s so interesting. We don’t have a lot of notes because we spent a lot of time in the Special Collection (archives) of one of the uni libraries doing hands-on work with papyrus scrolls. This month has been really good as I’m finally finding my direction in my studies. I start my new job in special collections this Tuesday so wish me luck! I’m really nervous because I’m only getting an hour of training from a guy who is video calling from Seattle and I’m not sure if I’m more nervous about not being face to face or about whether I’ll understand how the system works for metadata input.

♬: High Highs to Low Lows by Lolo Zouaï This song is such a mood tbh. I also love the touches of French later on in the song which reference the singer’s heritage. Just vibbin tunes.

I have my English listening comprehension in a week and the written part in approximately a fortnight(I think) and I’m not even stressing over them? Also, I have my civics finals in, like, three weeks and I haven’t really done much for it either.

In conclusion, don’t be as bad of a procrastinator as I am ~
