@erijaime did an amazing job drawing two of my fave rare pairs from MHA as always. This time, it is for a pirate AU I am concocting with a friend. They chose to remain anonymous.
Jirou hear is a pirate rumored to remove the earlobe of her victims. However, she is really just a seafaring bard with a literal band of pirates.
Setsuna is a rambunctious and flirtatious pirate who can split apart due to a sea devil curse.
Meanwhile Shinsou and Reiko are two lovers separated by the sea and death, hoping one day to reunite in the face of tragedy. Not even the tides or mortality can get inn the way of true love.

“You’ve been vetoed. Sit down and watch.”
“Democracy, bitches.” Reiko flashed Rin and Setsuna a cocky smirk while handing off her movie to Shinso.
“Why Nightmare Before Christmas?” Rin questioned once again. “It doesn’t fit.”
“I don’t care what you either of you say, Nightmare Before Christmas works for Christmas and Halloween.”
“It’s got Christmas in the title. Gotta side with Rei on this one,” Shinso said.
“You guys are just gonna fall asleep 10 minutes in like the old geezers you are on the inside,” Setsuna challenged.
“No, because.... no,” Reiko floundered
Once the movie was playing, Reiko and Shinso sat next to each other on the couch, laying under a mound of blankets. If one were to watch them, like Setsuna and Rin did, they would assume the couple has died.
To the other couple’s surprise, though, they stayed awake through the entirety of the movie, chiming in with comments every time Setsuna or Rin would think they had finally dozed off.
“Ok, now you guys get to put one on.”
“You sure, Rei? You sound like you’re on your last legs.”
“Oh yeah? Watch this.” Reiko did nothing.
“... what are we watching?” Rin asked.
“I’m doing push-ups... am I not doing them?”
“Nope.”
“We’ll stay awake,” Shinso yawned
“Right, sure.” Setsuna wriggled her arms out of her blankets and and sent them to change the movie. “Time did my pick. You may like it, Rei. it’s got—“
Setsuna was interrupted by two separate snores.
“Of course.”
“We should leave them be,” Rin suggested.
“They’re a perfect fit, I’ll give them that.”
