The concept of Sigzil in first four books is so fascinating and confusing to me, like he is everything — radiant, scientist, slave, Hoid’s student, worldsinger and Kel’s replacement
He is like a Barbie of Cosmere
Hoid: religion is so fucking funny the world is just too beautiful there must be a higher entity behind all this. lets oppress women
Sometime in Arc 2:
Shallan to Wit: I trust you
Wit: You should'n...
Wit, in his thoughts: Oh shit, she should. She can. I will.
I would loooove Jasnah and Wit getting to continue being friends in arc 2, this is one of the biggest wishes for Stormlight 6 (or maybe 7 and beyond, because the theory about Wit appearing only int he epilogue of stormlight 6 is very good). However. I think they should still be a mess and Sanderson should force them to figure their shit out. And it should be painful for both of them.
Happy disability pride!
I decided to forcebeam my cognitive disability onto Hoid for a little bit, because that's what he's there for!
Memento Maxtori by cosmere_play
Rated Teen, it'll be about 2500 words when it's finished (I'm almost finished writing it!). Hoid & Jasnah, first person POV because Hoid loves that shit, content warning: Hoid Being Annoying
While outlining what is important for me to show when writing Jaswit in my fic (Wit is planned to appear in the next chapter) I came across the realisation that I don't want to show just the toxic side of it. I think fans (not just cosmere fans, all fans) talk a lot about how they love ships that have something "problematic" going on, but they sometimes loose sight of the fact that if you look at just the toxicity, most things become very flat. It is important, it may be the appeal, but the love also has to be there. There has to be a reason why these people keep doing this, why they started this in the first place.
Anyway, I want to show the moments where Jasnah+Hoid works as intended. The big, dramatic moments like the Ruthar set-down in RoW, but also the small, private ones. Evenings when they genuinely enjoy each other's company and talk, when Jasnah's cleverness combines with Wit's experience and they both love it.
