your tags on my post has me brimasky spiraling . I need you to know that on the old marble hornets website brian was explicitly stated to be majoring in psychology nd the gross little insect in my brain points to him and Tim in college and goes HE KNEW!! HE KNEW!!!!!!!! As a plural timasky believer your tags about Brian having had the potential to actually help masky in any sort of real way is making me bite my hands so bad. I truly believe that even till the end of his life Brian was someone who was desperate to help others and do the right thing. Masky went from someone needing Brian’s help to Hoody’s only equal, a sort of living urban legend trying to scare off anyone who could befall their same fate. Lol. tfw my religious-esque delusions and brain damage make me into a gangstalker . Pays better than being a therapist anyway

i've been thinking about psych major brian for over a Year man it's so so crazy to me you don't even know. ohhh hg my god i saw this ask and started shaking my fists and dropped everything i was doing to pace around my house for 30 minutes and i'm not kidding apologies if this isn't organized very well

something SO crazy to me is the way that pre-operator brian seems to have gravitated towards like. people who were noticeably kinda weird or not that skilled socially. alex lacking some self-awareness and being the type of guy to blatantly lie about things to try and seem cooler (like how many auditions he got, when it was really just brian and tim), tim being obviously kind of secretive (not even wanting to tell people he was on anticonvulsants. dude..) and nervous in some social situations. and plural timasky is isn't even subtext at this point it's just flat out. The Deal.

and sure people could argue that these are just the kinds of people brian just happened to meet in college. but i really do feel like it goes deeper than that, because he does really strike me as having been a really patient and caring person. he's one of the only characters shown to have not gotten snappy at alex once he started to get more irritable, instead he ends up seeming more concerned/confused. the last time we really get to see pre-operator brian (51), he's smiling, giggling, and just trying to joke with him! and it's crazy that so few other people seem to notice that.

it's hard to tell his intentions and motives throughout his time as hoody but even then his desire to help occasionally shines through, even if it's severely disorganized, like this totheark before the upload of entry 80

brian's downward spiral is something i think so so much about and the thing that makes brimasky/their relationship in general so so much more interesting to me is the fact that brian gets depersonalized as FUUUUCK by the time he starts appearing as hoody. like. inquiry's "YOU ARE YOU, BUT WHO ARE YOU?" and the overall complete refusal from both brian and masky to give themselves any sort of titles or aliases past the channel name totheark. they don't have names. they don't speak. you can't see their faces. the living urban legend thing is kind of the perfect name for it. they lack any identity past their costumes, their Cause, and what horrible was done to them that they're seeking revenge for, to the point they're just turning themselves into symbols. fuuuuck. fuuuuuuck. that face when the dissociative codependency with the worlds most unhealthy feedback loop hits. they're so deep in delusion and without anchors to society that they really just Don't have a way out. i need to rip my face off

also hey did you know that there's a totheark entry that got taken off of the actual totheark channel because of bullshit copyright detection called File, and for 5 frames tim is edited to have TWO. HEADS. it was also uploaded before entry 77 and the code in it is an anagram for “BRING KNIFE”
