Was really hoping this dude was just going to end up some lovable weirdo who is a pro at his job and loves to tease his one and only colleague whose probably been rivaling against him for years since college but given the last episode’s preview he’s just another ableist jerk.

My hospital sent out an email yesterday saying they were giving all staff a $1000 bonus this year because everyone’s morale is so low (thanks COVID). We literally never get bonuses, and anytime there’s any sort of incentive or pay raise the doctors “don’t qualify” for it. So my partners and I were dancing in the hallways with excitement over this. One coworker who has really struggled with finances this year cried because she could now afford Christmas presents for her kids.

And then they sent a second email.

It said “please disregard the last email.”

Today's Walking Photo: How fortuitous. The ledge pictured here is a handy metaphor for the abysmal and interminable customer service disaster that befell me today. More than once over those lost hours, it seemed like it might be a better choice to just launch myself over the edge into oblivion. In the grand scheme of things it’s less than nothing – it’s just a tiny blip in my lifeline and of zero concern to anyone else – but hoo boy has it left a mark. Goodnight and here’s hoping for an easier tomorrow.

God of War 4

The most disappointing thing in this is that I can’t play as Atreus. My father and I have been playing God of War series (even when I was definitely not of age to play some of the games) since the beginning...And I was really hoping it would be 2-player when they announced Atreus was gonna be fighting alongside Kratos. :(

Just thought it be cool to fight alongside my Dad...but I’m content to watch him take ass and kick names (as Mantis says). x3

I guess I'm going to bed. I can't even deal with this right now. All this build up just to leave me flat busted. I mean I'm glad they're married and all...but could they have at least gave us like a half a vow or something.
