The owners of Mystic Museum have expanded (again) by opening the first spooky convenience store (a play on all the new corner store/bodegas that have recently opened). You can find Halloween/horror themed candy, soda, chips, popcorn, frozen novelties, hot sauce, coffee, cereal, and some branded merchandise. Some of the items come out around Halloween only (e.g., Kit Kat’s Ghost Toast flavor, Halloween Funfetti cake mix). Some are available year round but fit with the theme (e.g., Zapps Evil Eye potato chips).
The interior is very cute. It looks like a video store but filled with Halloween/horror treats instead of movies for rent.
It would be nice if they had a food license and actually offered some freshly prepared Halloween/horror food and drinks.
