A real blast from the past, circa 1998. I was a partner in a studio called Fudge Puppy Productions in Sydney. Nickelodeon were still running on the fumes of Ren & Stimpy, and were looking to produce a kiddie/gross/cartoony series of shorts, and so asked us to produce ’The Adventures Of Hot Chunks’ - basically three blobs of vomit (ah, the nineties :).
Fascinating to watch because we were using one of the first pre-Flash animation software packages (‘Animo’) which combined traditional paper animation and computer scanning, coloring and compositing. Also fascinating to spot Ms Lili Chin (look for her in the yellow T-Shirt) demonstrating her lightning fast animation prowess :)
