So on the subject of like, names. What about an s/o who uses petnames for everyone? Calling everyone babe, hun, etc. Would this bother any of them?
Aight, petnames in general.
Undertale Sans/Ace – Does it too, so no big deal.
Undertale Papyrus/Lief – He doesn’t really do pet names in the normal sense (“human” doesn’t count) but he isn’t bothered.
Underfell Sans/Chisel – He doesn’t care much, except he never knows who you’re talking too.
Underfell Papyrus/Spur – It makes him twitch if you use anything too cutsie on him in public, but otherwise he doesn’t really care.
Underswap Sans/Scout – Don’t make any reference to him being young or small and you’ll be fine.
Underswap Papyrus/Piper – Uses pet names himself, but not as much as Ace. Still not really bothered by it.
Swapfell(Red) Sans/Whip – Will give you shit if they’re “ridiculous” but otherwise largely unphased.
Swapfell(Red) Papyrus/Coyote – Thinks it’s cute and harmless. Whatever floats your boat.
Horrortale Sans/Tender – Isn’t bothered. There was a time he did it too. Now he saves them for specific people, but its fine if you use them on anyone.
Horrortale Papyrus/Cook – Will get into a joking competition about ridiculous pet names.
Swapfell(Purple) Sans/Doc – He doesn’t mind your speech patterns. It’s just a part of you.
Swapfell(Purple) Papyrus/Flint – Absolutely teases you about it, but otherwise is pretty whatever.
Fellswap Gold Sans/Haze – It depends. Friends and family is fine. People he’s “politicking” with, not so much.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus/Cirrus -Thinks it’s cute and doesn’t really mind.
Underlust Sans/Shine – Does it too, but he’s way more condescending about it.
Underlust Papyrus/Calico – Thinks it’s precious. You do you boo.
Dancetale Sans/Shuffle – Is way too shy to use them on anyone but friends and family. He thinks it’s kinda bold of you, and in a way he admires it.
Dancetale Papyrus/Foxtrot – It might throw him at first, but once he figures out it’s just how you talk, he gets over it. Maybe reassure him to be sure.
Outertale Sans/Saturn – Will start doing the same, but using ridiculous science terms.
Outertale Papyrus/Mercury – Oh that’s cute! But he doesn’t really care much.
Farmtale Sans/Sage – Is he supposed to care? He doesn’t regardless.
Farmtale Papyrus/Thyme – He hears them a lot on the farm so he doesn’t mind it anymore.
G!Sans/Aurum – Totally unphased. Some people are just like that.
G!Papyrus/Viridis – It’s pretty common in a lot of cultures he’s familiar with, so he isn’t bothered.
