H R T U P D A T E ‘ 2 6

today’s my 🅗🅡🅣nniversary and I have some mixed feelings about it, but it’s still worthy of celebration imo. it’s been a wild ride that’s for sure.

currently 0.15ml estradiol weekly intramuscular injections and 50mg oral progesterone daily. no additional testosterone suppression but my T was low even before stating HRT.

to the young trans gals out there, don’t give up. even if things suck now that doesn’t mean they’ll suck forever ♥︎

Wanted to make something for my 1 year hrt anniversary.

I did have a longer comic planned, but being honest, I think I still need a bit more time before I can draw it.

5 month hrt update.

This month has been rough. Not sure if it's just because of job struggles, my hormones, maybe my shitty sleep schedule making me take my hrt at slightly different times across days is fucking up my levels, maybe pms is a thing, idfk, but my mood has been in the dumps. But. I am alive and... okay for now. I think. Anyway, the hrt part:

I have noticed some things that could be unrelated but I am tentatively ascribing to having a cycle now. Most noticeably since my first suspected period (which had all of the classic symptoms (sans actual mestruation obviously)), I had hair-trigger discharge approximately lining up with the timing of the ovulation/luteal phases. Just correlative but I'll watch carefully this month to see if the pattern persists. If anyone knows that this is indicative let me know! I looked into it a little but didn't find anything conclusive, probably just using the wrong keywords or smth.

I am switching to injections to hopefully solve some of my mood issues (if my hypothesis about the cause is correct). Plus it's more consistent results anyway, I'm told. I may not be able to afford my regular method of hrt acquirement for long if I don't find a job so I mayyyy have to diy it after the first vial. I wanted to start with a more "official" source since I've heard some diy sources are having supply chain delays, but I'll probably order an extra vial diy as soon as possible, since my Valerate prescrip only lasts for 5 months (i think diy vials are typically a 1-2yr supply?). If anyone would like to help me afford that more easily, given I'm currently unemployed, my CA is $JaidaArticulare. You can ask for my PayPal if you can't use CA but still wanna help.
