Timberjacks wing edge have some kind of continuously growing substance similar to Beaver teeth or even like, buck antlers or smthg, I guess in a dragon itd be like an extension of the dewclaw on the hinge of its wings, just a part of them that grows their entire life that they have to manage by wearing it down and that's why they slice down trees and end up with real sharp wing edges, like a timberjacks wing edge can be an indication of its health and stuff too

Just watched the live action How To Train Your Dragon and I'm very upset that the timberjack, my favorite dragon ever, got zero screentime outside of ONE page of the Book of Dragons that lasted for like one second

I'll always love you timberjack, despite the minimal screentime you get in any HTTYD movie or show ((the typhomerang can fuck off it's just a HotTopic wannabe))
