like dennis belongs to him, still. dennis wants to yell, or hit something, and instead he pushes it down, lets himself settle it deep inside and fucking takes it, like he’s best at. “fuck– thank you,” langdon grits out, like it's painful. dennis' stomach is tight and pooling sparks. “thank you, sir.” or robby organises a playdate. frank learns to give head. dennis should have stayed at home.

Dennis is drunk. That's how it starts. (Again.)

He shouldn't be, because this is a work function, but he's seen at least four of his colleagues naked at this point so he figures what little was left of professional decorum has gone out of the window. (Trinity still hasn't forgiven him for walking in on her and Garcia, despite the fact that they were fucking on the couch at five pm on a weekday).

So he’s drunk, but it’s not entirely his fault. Langdon keeps giving them to him - the drinks. He's not buying them, cause it's an open bar (like, what the fuck kind of budget are they on where they can afford this but not an extra five monitors?) but he keeps coming back to the booth with a Diet Coke for himself and a vodka soda that he slides across the table to him. This is the third that makes its way into Dennis’ hand.

alpha dad Robby and his alpha son Frank have been rut partners ever since Frank's omega dad Jack passed. Frank loves spending every rut with his dad and by this point he doesn't even want to get an omega. Everything is perfect.

Well, almost. The only thing Frank wishes was different is that his dad would let him kiss him. Or even scent him.

So when Frank's younger omega half brother, Dennis, comes to stay with them and ride out his first heat with his alpha parent (as is customary, of course), Frank is livid. He hatesss the idea of sharing his dad with someone else and especially a young fertile omega who can make his dad's knot pop harder than his alpha hole ever could.

Frank tries to ignore the kid, knowing he'll be gone as soon as his heat is up and hopefully he'll never come back again.

But then, Frank gets curious. And the heavy scent of a newly fertile omega from the guest room is too much for his own impending rut to ensure. So, against every voice in his head screaming at him, Frank peeks into the guestroom and sees... his dad and little brother's mouths locked together, just as tightly as their knot and hole.

Frank runs out of the house, needing air. He stays out all night and only comes home when he knows his dad will be asleep. He collapses into his bed, covered with his dad's scent from their last rut, and sobs.

I have so much fun writing like. deeply psychosexually complicated relationships entrenched in jealousy and desire and resentment and pride and Masculinity and ego and that s2 trailer spurred me on to finish because My God. langdon looking at robby Like That while dennis stands at his elbow looking sheepish as his new pet? bitter jaded robby publicly lashing out and refusing to forgive bc langdon's done the inner work that he's afraid to? that shit is DELICIOUS

ANYWAY I am genuinely not sure what would happen after other than it gets realllll awkward at work. i genuinely don't think langdon and whitaker are attracted to each other at all. langdon is maybe like. kinsey 0.5 and in my head still fucking married lol and dennis would not pursue anything with him. if it were a case where langdon could give him something approaching what he had with robby then maybe, but rlly I don't think he can and dennis knows that.

an Evil future universe is like. robby occasionally would ask them to do shit and film it for him, either solo or together and it would depend how long their need for approval or their robby hero workship lasts out as to whether they would. a realistic universe is that they probably just like. carry on working knowing that this has happened, I imagine robby leaves ptmc (which i kind of imagine in any universe) and maybe they collide at like. fucked up work functions or really dark points. frank would initiate bc dennis knows if he did frank would probably punch him (straight man antics) and also he just doesn't like him that much. i think dennis is pretty good at having sex w people he doesn't particularly like, i think passivity is a really interesting and complex trait in that way. i think robby probably also tries to make it work with dennis One Last Time and is soundly rebuffed.
