Do you have any thoughts about the greek AU for Malec?

I so love all things mythology greek style!

I mean, there was one particular thing that was started in the discord server that had my mind factory working. (wait a sec, need to ask permission to use the discord prompt here) (okay, we cool)

The prompt was this: Alec as Artemis and Jace as Apollo, Simon as Icarus and Isabelle as Enyo. With Magnus and Raphael as the unfortunate somewhat-mortals who draw the attention of the gods by sheltering a runaway oracle; Clary.

So, possible scenario?

Clary is being kept captive at a temple, with the occasional public appearance, where she has a "vision" that goes something along the lines a great calamity is coming; because the gods are angry at the humans greed, and it can only be prevented if the people sacrifice some of their riches to the temple to appease the gods.

Clary is made to have these false visions by the temple's head honcho, Malachi, who her father sold her to, so that Malachi can get richer.

During one of those public visions, Clary gets away from her guards for a few minutes, just long enough to run into Simon and ask him to help her.

But before he can do anything, the guards are on her and bring her back.

Simon goes to his friends, Raphael and Magnus, and tells them what happened.

They decide to break Clary out of the temple and get her out of the city, to the free lands where they can't get to her anymore.

Jace becomes aware of one of his oracles leaving one of his temples, and enlists his brother, Alec, to help him get her back.

They aren't aware that the oracle was kept and used against her will, just that an oracle was at a temple as it should be, and now the oracle is gone, and that just won't do.

So he gets Alec and Izzy to help him track the missing oracle, they come across the group and after maybe a little a little back and forth, they learn the full story and decide to do something about the corrupt temple head. Along the way, Malec and Jimon happens.

Lucifer runs himself ragged all week getting the party set up (and despite the fact that he’s done this for Jack every time he needs it since he came back into Michael’s life, it still leaves Michael surprised and wondering what happened to the boy who only knew how to bite the hand that fed when Michael abandoned him, when did he learn to be gentle and reliable, why did Michael waste all this time not seeing him?) to the point that he looks like he might fall asleep in front of the birthday cake before Raphael nudges him with their elbow, and he wakes up to sing.

They sing quietly—loud noises hurt Jack’s ears, one of many little oddities, but they rearrange their lives around his needs: no vacuuming unless he’s out of the house and no yelling from room to room—while Jack looks like he’s about to jump right out of his seat with how much he wants to blow out the candles. Gabriel scoops him up in one arm after, lets Jack’s tiny hand curl around the handle of the (dull!) cake knife while his lays over it to guide him, and helps him to cut pieces for them all himself.

With all the human versions of the Rise turtles I've seen, I decided to make my own versions. And since the turtles are blood related to Splinter, and by extension the rest of the Hamato Clan, I used different members of the Hamato Clan to design each turtle's human form.

I'm going youngest to oldest. With Mikey, Donnie, and Leo done, its finally Raph's turn.

Like with Mikey, I also headcanon Raph as blasian. Though his proportions are done opposite of Mikey's. As in Raph's features and skin tone is skewed toward Japanese while his hair is skewed toward African American. (Though that's also because I see Raph as having a lighter skin tone than Mikey because his shade of green is lighter than Mikey's.)

I based the looks of his human form on Karai with a smidge of Oraku Saki. (I say a smidge because its Karai's features set to Oraku Saki's wider proportions.) That's because out of all of the turtles, I think that Raph has the most in common Karai. (Both took up leadership roles not because they wanted to, but because they felt like they had to in order to protect their loves one. Both put themselves before others. Both put their family first. Both are self-sacrificing. Both are first in terms of their ninpo (with Raph being the first of the turtles to (almost) fully unlock his ninpo, while Karai was the first practitioner of ninpo in the Hamato Clan). And Raph ended up taking on Karai's role of helping his brothers fully unlock their ninpo.)

Human Raphael

I have a fic i’m working on where Raphael turns human. Just a fun little thing that i reworked from about 8 years ago. But I felt the need to redesign him using TMNT 2003′s art style (specifically Casey’s body type). I absolutely love it! I’m working on redrawing my old human designs for the others as well, maybe post a comparison once they’re done. we shall see.
