Human Assistance Program 2.0
(This was heavily inspired by X-Men: Days of Future Past, and I recommend listening to Line of Sight by ODESZA with it. Enjoy!)
after Sophie and her friends defeat the Neverseen, peace is restored to the Elvin world
the Council decides to renew the Treaty with the other intelligent species and—following some debate—they agree to attempt making a connection with humans again
the Human Assistance Program 2.0 is born, slowly re-establishing contact with humans and exposing them to the knowledge that elves exist and introducing them to their culture
however, the elves' advances are met with disdain and hatred by the humans. especially after they are clued in that the Neverseen used to experiment on humans for the Nightfall project
humans dislike knowing about the elves' existence, they are scared of this species that is so different from theirs
these people eventually make up the majority by spreading fear and using misinformation to get others on their side. they overpower those that voice their support for the Human Assistance Program and form their own organization called Project X (short for Projext Xtermination) to take it down along with the elves
those behind it develop special machines against the elves called Sensors and succeed in destroying the Lost Cities once they find a way to unveil them
the elves that manage to escape go into hiding in the Forbidden Cities but the Elvin population is now on the verge of extinction
Project X turns into a full-fledged witch hunt: any individual that seems to be exceptionally beautiful or peculiar in any way is taken by the organization to find out whether they are elves, which isn't a difficult feat since the Elvin genetic makeup is so different from humans'
if they are found to be Elvin, they are questioned and tortured to reveal anything they might know about the whereabouts of other elves—or any other essential information having to do with their own kind—and are experimented on so that humans can more easily identify how to destroy them
Sophie is one of the few survivors along with Biana, Dex and Linh – all of their friends and family have either been taken, gone missing or didn't make it out alive
they hear a rumor about a certain elf with the power of Chronokinesis—the ability to manipulate time—among the survivors whose powers, when enhanced, can allow for time traveling
so Sophie and her remaining friends set out to find them in hopes of undoing the tragic events with their help
as much as Linh and Biana try to hide them all, it's a difficult feat against all of the Sensors and Project X's gadgets
they almost succeed in reaching their destination, using Sophie's Telepathic tracking skills, when they are found and seperated from each other
all of Sophie's friends collectively protect her so that she can get to the Chronokinetic and reset the timeline. they manage to hold back the Sensors, giving Sophie just enough time to find the elf
she combines their powers at the last moment, and they are able to reach back to the day before it all started
and Sophie jumps back in time to undo all of the horrors caused by the Human Assistance Program 2.0
