The most famous figures in the Bible aren’t remembered for their bravery, vast riches, or pridefulness. Rather, they are remembered for their humility before God, and their willingness to submit themselves to His will.

It’s by humbling ourselves to the Father that we will begin to see His hand at work in our lives. It’s through our humility that His glory is able to shine into our lives.

Moses would not be remembered for splitting the Red Sea if he didn’t follow God’s will to go back to Egypt.

Noah would not be remembered for surviving the great flood if he didn’t obey God’s command to build the ark.

Jesus would not be tempered as our humble savior if He did not obey the will of the Father perfectly on our behalf.

It’s by humbling ourselves to the might and power of God the Father that we will not only gain victory over what torments us in our daily lives, but also be given a legacy that will be spoken about for years after we die.
