If there’s one thing that I love, it’s a a gal who isn’t afraid to cause a little drama and you, Ruby Reyes, certainly are not. If you were searching for trouble with a capital ‘T’ then you’ll be quick to find it in Ruby Reyes. Boredom really is a teenage girl’s worst enemy and whenever it starter to creep up on this gal, she’d send it swiftly away. Ruby’s version of ‘fun’ is not for the faint of heart and anyone who isn’t ready to be pushed to their absolute limits, is partying with the Ruby. Thankfully, Ruby makes up for her wild and occasionally vindictive actions with her raw talent and ruthless edge. While in her devoted mother’s eyes, butter wouldn’t melt in her daughter’s mouth, most people are privy to her tendency to want to watch things burn. She’s always known making it as a model is not easy. In Ruby’s eyes, there’s no way she is going to be another washed up has-been by the time she reaches twenty one, she’s going to be the real deal. Ruby has to keep going. She’s restless, impatient and she does not handle jet lag well. Her career is the most important thing in her life but admittedly, she would have lost more than a few jobs by now if it weren’t for her glorified babysitters (/team).
New York has always held a special place in her heart and she’s thrilled to be back again. Ruby has dabbled with our favourite scandalous elite already, of course, but she wants more. Froyo with Blair Waldorf, hotel rooms with Chuck Bass. Being who she is, she’s already half way there and with her mom’s surprise marriage to Lawrence Huntzberger, it’s only a matter of time before she gets everything she wants. Ruby won’t apologise for being five steps ahead or for wearing that one outfit so much better than you. Life is for getting what you want when you want it before you’re too old and too ugly to get it anymore. Ruby doesn’t plan on wasting a second of her best days and she won’t be anyone’s sad second wife. When she’s not plotting for her ultimate takeover of the fashion world, she’s worrying about her eyebrows and which club she’s going to hit up tomorrow night and with who’s significant other. The Upper East Side has been on high alert ever since her Louboutin heels hit the ground running. You never know what Ruby Reyes is going to do next but you sure as hell can’t wait to find out.
What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?
TBD for what GG has on them. Ruby did receive a few exciting text messages from Gossip Girl themselves during the ‘Takedown’ era which fueled her suspicion of William. GG also promised some juicy tidbits if Ruby would lend a helping hand as well.
William Huntzberger - the step-brother. William came with the package deal of her mom marrying Lawrence Huntzberger. He’s definitely the shadiest b-i-t-c-h that Ruby’s met and she’s determined to learn all his secrets.
Agnes Andrews - meeting Agnes was fire meets fire and boy did they burn. They are each other’s own worst influence and despite hearting each other (xoxo biatch), they clash constantly. Genuinely friends, genuinely enemies.
Juliette Vanderbilt and Elena Archibald - co-models! Elena she’s known for a while through work but Juliette is new on the scene. Of course everyone knows the Vanderbilts but on the runway? Ruby can’t wait to see what she’s made of.
Amber Watts - Ruby’s full-time babysitter and PR agent. Amber makes sure that Ruby doesn’t get into the kind of trouble that you can’t get out of professionally.
Serena van der Woodsen - Ruby used to party with the OG, pre ‘new leaf’ van der Woodsen and it was, like, everything.
