KIRI?!?!?!?!
Round 3 Poll 9
Rosohna vs. Hupperdook
Rosohna, Wildemount
Hupperdook, Wildemount
Rosohna, Wildemount: Rosohna is the capital of the Kryn Dynasty in Xhorhas. Due in part to the sunlight sensitivity of its majority-drow population, the city’s mages maintain a blanket of eternal night in the sky above the city. This magical effect is seen as a hallmark of the Kryn Dynasty, especially as it is also cast at contentious points along the Dwendalian border to reduce the disadvantage to drow soldiers fighting during the day. Rosohna is built on the ruins of the calamity-era city Ghor Dranas, the capital of the betrayer gods’ alliance during this conflict. Sometimes Rosohna is still erroneously called Ghor Dranas, especially by political opponents of the Dynasty. Rosohna is the centre of the Dynasty’s secret religion worshiping the Luxon.

Hupperdook, Wildemount: Hupperdook is a majority-gnome city in the Dwendalian Empire, known for technology. It also has a famously vibrant nightlife. The Mighty Nein passed through while working for the Gentleman, and stopped to help the Tinkertop and Schuster families.

I lined this nearly two months ago and finally got the motivation to colour it

Mighty Nein episode 24 thoughts:
“Did you just say I’d been with your mom?!”
~
“Did you just put a hooker on layaway?”
~
“And the third thing is something I want to talk to Fjord about.”
“Oh my god.”
~
I got so invested in that drinking contest. I was thrilled that they kept rolling well. MIGHTY NEIN! MIGHTY NEIN!
~
This series, combined with my appreciation of marble racing (Jelle’s Marble Runs on YT), makes me think that I just really like narratives that are built up through chaotic means, and you have to go with it no matter what happens.

...And then they all got pickpocketed by a toddler while blind drunk.
Looking forward to episode 25, where Ashley/Yasha comes back and they take on the Motorised Patriot clockwork warden. That’s gonna be a good boss fight.
Based off of Crit Recap Animated (ep 17-25). It filled my heart to see them smiling and having fun. They just looked so giddy.... or maybe I'm projecting. I miss my friends.
I still can’t believe people started campaign 2 before campaign 1...like the joy you feel when Pumat Sol is reading Tary’s book, the lighbulb that goes off in your head when Matt mentions the lack of floating cities in Exandria or the Ravenite refugees in Xhorhas or when Matt casually mentions the fall of Draconia, the dread you feel when you see the guns in Hupperdook, the grief when the Raven Queen is mentioned, the literal jolt that went through my body when I realized Yasha the Barbarian is a follower of Kord when Grog the Barbarian had been looking for Kord literally 2 decades ago.
You just see these tiny ripples of Vox Machina bleed into this world 20 years later and just....like I feel like it’s memories of a past life or lives that I witnessed. I can’t even imagine how the players feel when they hear these little things.
Does anyone remember when it was mentioned that Hupperdook had started to build airplanes?
