Redrawing (4/10): Hylda Kurisutaro
Her girlfriend
Hylda, Daughter of Asher and Mrs Wertheimer
Artist: John Singer Sargent (American, 1856–1925)
Date: 1901
Medium: Oil paint on canvas
Collection: Tate Britain, London, United Kingdom
Description
Hylda was the third daughter of the wealthy art dealer Asher Wertheimer, who had commissioned Sargent to paint twelve portraits of his family. Sargent''s reputation ensured that such portraits were a token of wealth and social standing. The portrait of Hylda is in the grand manner of the old masters, and great care is given to the depiction of the different luxurious textures of her clothing. Sargent tried to dissuade Hylda from wearing her pince-nez, which undermine this illusion, but they were retained at her insistence.

Propaganda under the cut.
Aside from 'Will, Scion of Peace' not being a cryomancer-type creature or having anything to do with his powers (I'm shocked WotC doesn't listen to their fans /s), I'm happy with Hylda's and Sharae's cards. It'll be easy to slip their non-legendary predecessors into a deck with them. (Sometime soon I'm expecting to see a plane with a Merfolk Kingdom under the ice.)
I wish Numbing Dose was reprinted. We have Mesmerizing Dose but still, hehe. Might as well throw in Reviving Dose and Hylda can be 'of the Icy Crown and Potions'.
