This pirate AU is killing me.
Like, I love it, but oh my god I’ve spent far too long squinting at pirate ships going “Wtf is that called???”
my dealer: this strain is called "Edo Phoenix" you will be zooted out your gourd
me: i don't feel anything really
[7 years later]
my friend: he keeps being moved around from one abusive adult figure to another
me, pacing: the D is lying to us

airbuds weekly is like going to the doctor. yippee
Anyway I thought I wouldn’t use Hyperobjects in my thesis at all (sad!) but I realized that The Buried Giant actually has an incredible example of a typical hyperobject (Ie the mist as hyperobject as manifestation of Arthurian strife/fall of Camelot as manifestation of environmental damage from war, which is in its own way inextricable from modern readings of Arthur and its impact on British identity) which makes me very happy that my long days parsing Morton’s absurdly impenetrable writing didn’t go to waste.
Hm. It was optimistic of me to think the spawn campers were dead.
Heh. I even told myself I wont go outside! And then what do I do? It's my own fault, really.
