hello world !!!!!! i apologize for getting things out so slowly today, i'm not feeling very good today and have been dealing with fainting spells again, but i'll try to get the last two matchups for today done before i turn in. okay bye i love you all
living with pots in the summer is no joke.
and it especially isn’t a joke to your boyfriend pedro.
he carried salt packets, electrolytes and emergency ice packs on hand for when you get too hot, he tries his best to avoid paparazzi because it makes your heart rate spike.
but today, that wasn’t an option. the vacation in hawaii was supposed to be fun, carefree, and relaxing. not stressful enough to cause a 3 day long flare up.
it started when your plane landed and paparazzi was already there. you gripped his hand tightly and he squeezed it right back, mumbling to you as you pull your hood up.
“the car is right outside, i’ve got you…” and he was right, to an extent. you didn’t expect the heat of hawaii either. the forecast was sunny but breezy, but fuck. you immediately felt dizzy and tired, steps slowing a bit.
pedro noticed and wrapped his arm around your waist to help you to the car. you take deep breaths as he helps you in, deflecting the questions and photos as he makes sure you’re okay before running to the other side to get in for the uber.
he fans you carefully in the car, making sure you don’t pass out, putting a cool bottle of water on your neck as you close your eyes. he hates how quickly you can feel bad. but he just sits with you and strokes your hair as your driver heads toward your hotel resort.
you hum as pedro softly kisses your forehead, closing your eyes as your head spins. your heartbeat feels discordant but you know it’s just your tachycardia flaring, so you take deep, slow breaths.
pedro, being the sweet boyfriend he is, carries you up to your room while your bags are brought up by a bus boy. he makes you a cool bath and helps you recoup yourself for the rest of the day <3
i'm going to check my medicaid coverage tomorrow to see if they will cover any costs for a wheelchair!! i have been needing one for a while now but unfortunately i can't be the one pushing myself due to my fibro so i wouldn't be able to use it if i'm on my own. anything is better than nothing tho, i shouldn't have to suffer in the grocery store bc my legs hurt and i feel achey all over and i have a right to go to the mall without feeling like i'm gonna pass out.
i think that whenever i feel sick, like all the time atp, my boyfriend should just be able to spawn in to hold me and talk to distract me from the pain and focus on him instead
I’ve slowly been getting appliances that make Life With Disability easier and it all seems silly and lazy but I’ve actually been enjoying life more. Shower chair = I can take more time with exfoliants and body scrubs which is a fantastic sensory experience for me lol. Air fryer = no more having to bend over to mess with the oven, which makes me dizzy. Egg cooker = I don’t have to stand while cooking them, which stinks. Back rest for my bed = don’t have to get up to sit on my barstool chair
Pretty much all my spare money is going to this stuff, but it’s making life way more tolerable and I stress a lot less. It seems like small stuff but it all prevents me from doing so much in the day to day
of course, when im ready to go and watch, my body goes "lmfao fuck you" and im hit with a wave of fatigue
I've finally done it!!! I bought the coffee I've so desperately wanted for so long now!!!
