All for one is back and more powerful than ever, and apparently the reason that when Deku took out Shigaraki’s consciousness, all for one felt a hole in his heart because his brother was already gone and that kept him awake while Shigaraki died.

So not only did Deku giving up his quirk not do anything (yet hopefully there’s still something in store) but it also is the reason that all for one is still kicking??

I’m honestly so confused because there is a lot of hand waving in this part about consciousness and the nature of the OFA and AFO quirks. But I don’t get what the predecessors going into Shigaraki’s mind did for anything except maybe make it so Izuku and Shimura could get in there.

But then the fact that they got through to Tenko/Shigaraki and shattered his hate PLUS the fact that AFO could no longer sense his obsession is what made it so AFO could take over again???
