It's generally fannon that Lewis Nixon volunteered to join the army in order to piss off his father Stanhope. Nonetheless, I put together a timeline of events a couple of months before Lew joining the army just in case if our amazing content producers would like some new hypothesis or a complex of hypothesis for their writing/arts. The Nixons events were from social notes in old newspapers. The WW2 events were from history. I put the time point of Lew joining the army at Nov 1940 because of the piece of news below (and he volunteered, not drafted).

Hey Nonnie! I have no idea what made you think that cause it is a total jumble up in my head most of the time ;)

Well to answer your question, I do try to stay away from unnecessary drama and that sorts out most things. 

About what I live by? There was this time when I was 5 years old and thanks to a rogue mosquito( suckers!!!! hah, literally) I ended up in the hospital with malaria. Anyway, before the doctors diagnosed it correctly, they pinned it down for viral, so obviously the fever wouldn’t go down. It got to the point that they had to wake me up at odd hours and give me an ice bath so the temperature was at least manageable( I don’t really remember most of this, its what my mom tells me) What I do remember is that when they drew blood for the malaria test, I was really scared of needles. And when the doc was about to prick me, my mom kissed the top of my head and told me, I quote- “It will hurt a little. If you don’t cry, yell and scream it will hurt... If you do cry, yell and kick, it will still hurt. So you decide how you want to take it.” Its a small thing really, but that sentence always works for me in a lot of situations.
