Okay this is the last one I'm ever making
🧂 Ash Salt Cookie 🌫
Okay at least we ended this never-ending series with a good craft because I've had a few fails on the way to the end
Now idk if it was the fact that she was the last Cookie I'll ever make (probably), the fact that I absolutely adore her or just the Monster energy drink kicking in but this was the same case as Venom Dough Cookie where I finished it in 2 hours even though it normally takes 3-5 hours
Also you cannot tell me that Ash Salt Cookie doesn't resemble White Lily Cookie a bit I mean come on tell me I'm not going insane
Anyways this series is most likely over, idk whether to feel relieved or just shocked honestly

Y'all I get so ridiculously heated over death note. But also.... if you don't think a part of Light Yagami died when L Lawliet did then you're wrong.
The series starts with Light telling Ryuk how bored he's been and then he pours his whole heart and soul into a cat and mouse game with L, in which they both think they're the cat. We never see Light Yagami as passionate as he is when he's fighting will L. And he simply doesn't enjoy being Kira anymore when he's not being challenged by L.
A lot of fans say that the series goes downhill once L is dead and Near and Mello are introduced and this is because Near and Mello aren't a perfect foil for Light the way L was. They're incredible when looked at against each other but no one matched Light the way L does.
And this is because Light and L are so very similar when it comes down to it. And they're both fighting to entertain their childish and selfish ideals. L doesn't want to catch Kira to help people, he wants to catch Kira to win.
And that matches Light god complex and need to win so well.
They're fated rivals. They're meant to go against each other and they're meant to be with each other.
I can't—
Just,
Cat to cat communication.
