Having to go to the hospital for constipation and having people laugh at me after :(
I have IBS and FMS for clarification. It felt like I’d ruptured my appendix or my stomach had popped or something
But no. No one cares. They laugh cause “haha, you had to go to the hospital cause you couldn’t take a shit”
That is ableist and horrible.
The horrors (tummy ache) persist yet we (me my self and I) venture forth with the power of friendship (sprite saltine crackers and tums)

I think people should talk about IBS more as someone who’s had it since I was like 14? It’s genuinely so scary like it feels like you’re legitimately dying. I get that like people find talking about diarrhea and constipation is like kinda embarrassing bcs like it’s a super vulnérable moment but likeee I find it scaryer to NOT talk about it bcs then you don’t know what’s going on with your body and feel alone embarrassed and like you’re dying especially if it happens when you’re away from your house.
It’s genuinely a hellish experience especially if you were already a picky eater bcs a lot of what might have been comfort foods now you can’t eat and even if you figure out a safe food it can switch up in a moments notice.
It's fucked up that Intestines Trouble causes Brain Fog. Like, stay in your damn lane! I don't send executive functioning marching down there into YOUR house to fuck up YOUR job!
What, just because the hemmorhoids are angry? A few drops of blood and some colon pain and suddenly Oh No We Can't Think Thoughts?? Who the fuck put YOU in charge, anyway!
