Progress on the wings are slow…yes I am painting every individual feather and I know I need to go back and sort the main body out a bit more too…but I want to get one side done first.

In the dnd campaign I’m in, different regions have guardians which are often fantastical beasts. The northern climes are ruled over by a huge ice phoenix called The Silver King, so of course I was like “please let me design that that sounds sick as hell”. Might change some stuff later, still not happy with the wings, but overall he’s looking pretty close to what I wanted! 1 part albino peacock, 1 part secretary bird, 1 part articuno, and a dash of bearded vulture for Fluffy Pants.

Second part of the commission set for my friends Birthday. She’s a massive fan of Harry Potter and all things related to magical beasts. I never got around to seeing Fantastic Beasts 2, but I wanted to incorporate fantastical creatures into an artwork. So instead I decided to design my own XD I also tried to incorporate as many of her favourite animals as possible (there were a lot)

Chloe the Flying Pig was the design I put the most effort into rounding out and making cute, as pigs are her favourite animal in the world. So now I have a cute pet character to introduce to all future presents X3
