Usually I dont feel comfortable with posting my headcannons unless I'm asked first, but I got a funny drabble idea that I want to write but it wouldnt make much sense without this context first.
My headcannons for how colors work for the arcosian race.
Now, I know it hasn't been confirmed there are females, but I'm personally on team 'there are males and females'. Mostly because I have a female arcosian OC, but that's not the point! The point is what their colors are!
I'm also in the 'female Ice-Jins dont have boobs' boat (not to say those that are in the boob boat arent valid, this is just how I see them.), so for the most part, females and males look the same, save for color.
Now, let's take a look at all the Ice-Jins we've seen throughout Dragon Ball (excluding Frost, but we'll get to him later! ^^)

Now, what do these lizards have in common? They are all varying shades of pink/red/purple.
I know they're the only Ice-Jins we've seen, so this headcannon of mine is just speculation. What if the males are more vibrant and intense colors like these, while the females are cooler colors like blues and yellows and greens?
Perhaps the red like colors are supposed to be more eye catching? Since males are often the ones with the most eye catching colors to attract a mate? So the way I see it, the colors purple, red, pink, and orange are colors you commonly see on a male, while green, blue, and yellow are colors often seen on a female.
The exceptions being purple and orange. Orange has a yellow component while purple has a blue component. Although rare, a female could be orange or purple.
Now, since Broly came out, lets look at young Frieza.
Frieza is all pink here, he's obviously younger. So I headcannon that males are born varing shades of red, while females are born various shades of blue.
The reason why I thought of this is because I heard that Frieza was inspired from the Oni, Oni are Japanese demons who come in all sorts of colors, including blues and reds!
Now, let's look at Frost! My favorite Ice-Jin!
Now, hes blue, but hes also a male. Since hes from another universe, that means the Ice-Jins in universe six wont be like the ones in universe seven.
So, the way I see it, males and females can be any color. However the legs/tail are black for males and white for females. Think of a yin yang thing for them!
