i just reblogged one of my crackfics - part of my fem!robert baratheon x ned stark series. i remember writing the series in a frenzy - i was much inspired of course by the delightful artwork of @icesalamander. her roberta was so vivacious and such a force to be reckoned with! and i could see how ned (overshadowed by his siblings - brandon, lyanna and even in my mind benjen) would be so taken by her.

this particular fic was also inspired by the weird bit in the show (spoiler alert!)

of jon snow also being named as aegon targaryen (same name as his half brother (!)). i was thinking why anyone would do so, name their sons all aegon - and i thought it must be sheer spite! roberta is far from perfect in that but the thing is that she loves her sons and her ned with such fierceness.

2) weirdly it seems I don’t have that option while accessing tumblr from chrome on a desktop, but on mobile i found it and disabled it... Weird 🤔

Okay but the guy who wrote the book (david day) has his own tolkien gateway page and one half of it is people saying that his work is awful and the other half is the fact that the tolkien society blacklisted him from events because he didnt pay for attendance :D

fuck i’m cackling. (and wondering how he got a fucking book published while we all languish in obscurity, let’s publish a book of essays, they’ll let any moron do it apparently.

   Yes :D you missed rickon but I had to read it three times to realize who is missing so you are doing great 👍 also it’s really funny how you kind of said their names in a quote wrong unquote order (like listing the sons of feanor as Curufin Amras Maglor Celegorm Maedrhos etc. not wrong just strange)    

i think i probably did it in order of how frequently i hear them mentioned/how much info i know about them....but no idea if that corresponds to how developed they are in the books etc....
