in considering permin there is a hurdle for me to get over which is that fermin is a somewhat boring character to me on his own and i feel like pedro as a character has more meat and could therefore do better... BUt i think then there is an angle to it that works for me where pedro is down terrible for his boring bland basic childhood friend and everyone (not everyone bc a lot of people are fond of boring fermin i guess becuase he rides fast? but like pedro's friends if he has any?) are like how it is him that has inflamed your heart and loins etc he is so ... polite. and pedro's like 😡😡😡 that makes it worse that fermin grew into a respectful/respectable generically fast competent rider that is anti pedro's brand but yet he's still injured in his heart about him
