alicent scene was baaaaaaad i defended the alimond kiss because it was non explicit but deeply haunting and most importantly, thematically coherent but that was some absolute nonsense waste of time and nothing about the episode and most likely the entire season changes if you remove that scene. based on what he says to her beforehand it almost felt to me like some sort of meta commentary @ the people who still insist alicent was a manipulative ambitious little slut and refuse to see her as a victim but like. uhhhhh. could have been done different. if they wanted something like that to happen so bad they shouldve had her bash his skull to pieces in rage and as shes turning his brains to ground beef she briefly sees viserys's head instead for a split second and pauses just for a moment before she keeps gouging. anyway
