With about 1.4 million Palestinians living across 1300 villages, the Nakba resulted in the displacement of over 900,000 people. The vast majority of them ended up in neighboring countries; Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
ALBAWABA - Every year on May 15, Palestinians commemorate the day they were forced out of their homeland, in what’s known as Nakba, describe

"Israel's apartheid against Palestinians sets out how massive seizures of Palestinian land and property, unlawful killings, forcible transfer, drastic movement restrictions, and the denial of nationality and citizenship to Palestinians are all components of a system which amounts to apartheid under international law. This system is maintained by violations which Amnesty International found to constitute apartheid as a crime against humanity"
The UN, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, AND Israel-based Human Rights group Bet Salem have all confirmed what Palestinian have known and lived through for decades. That Israel is an apartheid state. That it does not value Palestinian lives!
Strange how so many that defend Israel literally need to lie and put words in people's mouths to look like they're the good guys. It's because they know what they are fighting against.
With facts. With reality.
These defenders of Israel are willing to look like fools to coddle Israel as it spills Palestinian blood. These people have blood on their hands.
Watch the video for more info. You'll also see a clip of how miserable and pathetic those who defend Israel will look when history records them. Because the tide is finally turning to justice.
Hi everyone out there that may care.
I'm a younger guy. Been doing t… Kevin Vecchione needs your support for On the Verge of Homelessness, p
Another day filled with evictions in New Orleans, despite the "so-called" Moratorium. Tent cities are popping up all over the city.
If I can reach my goal and cover rent. My next goal will be to see how to help a city still in the middle of a pandemic with a third of businesses closed and in crises. I hope to soon begin working on a GoFundMe Pool of funds for other people like me teetering on the verge of eviction.
As many people as we can keep in their homes, the fewer people will be forced to live by welfare programs and in homelessness.
New Orleans' homeless shelters only house a third the beds needed for our homeless population.
We can all make it through this all together if we all just give one another a helping hand in this time of confusion and crises.
Thanks to everyone who've donated so far! I can't thank you all enough
Check to see if your Apartment is covered from Eviction under the CARES Act:
The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees the government-sponsored mortgage buyers Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, unveiled a tool that
Now that many of the Statewide Eviction Moratoriums are being phased out and evictions are going forward, Renters need to know whether they are still covered under the Eviction Moratorium included in the CARES Act for all Federally Backed apartment buildings.
Since Landlords will attempt eviction regardless of whether it's legal or not, and since Civil Judges and Sheriff Department's are unlikely to bother making sure am eviction is Legal at your location before doing a Landlord's bidding, it falls on the Tenant to make sure their own Eviction is legal or not.
Also, many States or County and City Social Service Agencies offer free Legal Counciling for most Low-wage Tenants, so if you're being evicted, DO NOT HESITATE TO SEARCH ONLINE TO SEE WHAT YOUR STATE OFFERS IN LEGAL COUNCILING OR RENTAL ASSISTANCE.
The best tool a Tenant has in defense of her own housing is to be as fully aware of the Law, as well as the assistance in her area offered to renters in crises. Knowledge is in fact power. I myself have been threatened non-stop since the very first week of the Lockdown when I was immediately Laid Off. I have over and over again thoroughly humiliated my Slumlord as he and his goons refuse to do anything about multiple pest infestations even as they threaten Tenants in direct violation of the Law here in Louisiana where a Statewide Eviction Moratorium ha so been in effect since April.
Knowing my Rights bought me the time and space I needed to save up to move my ass out of that Rat and Roach infested den in the ghetto and into a nice house in a beautiful neighborhood in New Orleans' Garden District.
So please, heed my warnings, get updated on the Law and Assistance offered in your area, Lord knows the the Government isn't going to advertise what help they offer, you unfortunately must be your own Lawyer and your own Advocate.
This link above, as stated is one tool in the Toolbox and includes TWO LINKS in the article to the Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac Property Search tools to see if your rental is backed by Federal Loans and therefore covered under the CARES Act, making your Eviction illegal until August 25th.
Stay updated, stay educated, and most of all, stay safe out there! Good Luck Tenants!
