Immune Boosting Strawberry Orange Smoothie
Comforting Italian Penicillin Soup- Beef & Veggie Boost
Let’s talk about the real reason for cold and flu season: excessive sugar consumption during the holidays & low Vitamin D levels can weaken your immune system, leaving you more vulnerable to colds and the flu?
Here’s why….
Sugar overload 🍪🍬🍰🍭🧁
Too much sugar suppresses your white blood cells, which are your immune system’s frontline defense. It can take hours for your immunity to recover after a sugar-heavy treat.
Low Vitamin D ☀️
Shorter days and less sunlight often mean a drop in Vitamin D levels, which are critical for immune health. Without enough, your body struggles to fight off infections effectively.
Stay healthy this season!
✔️ Balance those holiday sweets with nutrient-dense meals. Eat your veggies first!
✔️ Get outside during the day for sunlight, even if it’s chilly. Bundle up in a warm blanket and bring your tea.
✔️ Consider a Vitamin D supplement to keep levels optimal throughout the winter.
✔️ Prioritize rest, hydration, and stress management.
Take care of your immune system, so it can take care of you!

Hello! Can you recommend me any spell to boost my inmune system or prevent sickness? I'm already taking the necessary measures like washing my hands, use soap, get away from sick people, avoid too much contact, etc. But well, you can't be too prepared and the more the merrier, right?
Hey there! I’m not sure how long this has been in my ask box because I frequently dont get notifications for asks 😅But! on top of all the mundane precautions, I’ve been working with immune-boosing, warding, protective herbs a lot. and making sure to add herbs with an affinity for respiratory health. but what feels like a good, resilient barrier plant to me may not feel like one to you, but i’ll list some that I like. These /are/ medicinal, but i’m only suggesting you use them as spell ingredients (not ingesting them) unless you either have experience taking them, or can work with an herbalist (many of which are super keen to help as much as they can in this pandemic!) echinacea, elderberry, marshmallow root, rose hip, mullein, and thyme are what I’ve been reaching for most often. But again, this is just what I use! I have a segment about correspondences and spell formulation in the latest episode of Witchcraft for the Restless if you’d like to hear how I come up with correspondences!
