slowburn/fake date/ enemies to lovers - Gabriel, Castiel, Samandriel
Oh, this one is hard.
Slow burn - Castiel.

Wanna take my time falling for that angel. He’s too nervous to tell me how he feels because he’s not human, and I’m too nervous to think he’d ever look at a human like me seriously. Maybe he’d figure out how I felt when he had to heal me. Then we’d find whole new and exciting ways for him to heal me! (I actually wrote a scene where Cas healing the girl turned into smut in my very first fic, and it’s still one of my favorite scenes.)
Fake date - Samandriel.
I don’t know why. Baby angel looks young enough to be my son. Like, it would have to be a fake-dating-to-shock-someone situation. And then we’d have to kiss in front of people, and it would be weird, but then it wouldn’t be weird, anymore, and the rest of the world would fall away.
Enemies to lovers - GABRIEL.
I can hear myself yelling at him through the Bunker as I run into one of his pranks. “GABRIEL!!!!!! YOU BASTARD!!!!!” And he’d just reply, “Hey! I’m no bastard! I know exactly who my dad is!!!” Shit, man, things would fly as I just started chucking things at him. I’m no good with the pranks, so yeah...we’d be enemies until he cut that shit out and approached me properly.
Next!! Send me asks! I’ll answer when I get a chance!
Re: Sam Ideas. I keep returning to that one shot you did of the cage as the tunnel and I can't stop thinking about it. Maybe some angst of when Sam was hallucinating and maybe he sees more than Lucifer, and Dean or You can help him get a grip when the hand scar isn't cutting it? Just some poetic angst please 💖
This is not bad, this is not bad at all, and I’ve had a touch of a lightbulb spark, I’ll bookmark this with my idea in the notes so I remember to link back to it/tag you when the time comes. 🤗
(What we’re talking about in case y’all are wondering —> Reprieve )
This fic was written for Beka @impala-dreamer Tell Me a Me Story Drabble Challenge. My prompt was #27, “I’m so happy right now I could vomit.” “Sweet.”
Characters: Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, Beka, Hope the waitress
If it hadn’t been for the fact that Dean could hear Beka’s stomach growling from the back seat, he probably would have kept on driving. Everyone was raw over losing those kids, and putting as much mileage between them and that clusterfuck seemed like a good idea.
“Why are we stopping?” Sam asked in a voice blank with exhaustion.
“Food,” Dean commented simply, not looking at either of them.
“We are really low on cash right now,” Beka commented as she saw the diner Dean had pulled into.
“Then don’t come,” was his snarky response as he slammed the door and Sam followed. Muttering something that sounded suspiciously like “asshole”, Beka followed the boys, running to catch up.
The place was deserted. Dean had grabbed a window booth so he could keep an eye on his baby. A waitress came over and handed them glasses of water. “Got any specials today?” Dean asked her conversationally.
She smiled pleasantly. Her name tag said “HOPE” in large block letters. “Are you kidding? It’s Thanksgiving. We’ve got a dinner better than what your Mama makes, lemme tell ya.”
“So that’s why it’s so empty,” Sam mused.
Hope looked over at him. “You didn’t realize it was Thanksgiving, honey?”
Sam blushed a little and looked away. “We’ve been busy with work.”
“Tell ya what. You three have been my only customers in ages, so how about three Thanksgiving dinners on the house? You look like you need it. Jacob’s pumpkin pie will make ya cry, it’s that good.” She gazed at the three expectantly.
“What’s the catch?” Beka asked suspiciously.
“No catch, hon. Just paying it forward. You do something nice for someone someday, and we’ll call it even, okay?” Hope winked at Beka and scurried off to the kitchen.
She returned a few minutes later with plates heavily ladened with an incredible Thanksgiving spread. Sam and Dean demolished their food as though they were starving. Beka had to mediate a near fistfight over the last roll. Even she had to admit this was one of the best meals she had ever eaten.
“This stuffing tastes just like my Mom’s,” Beka said, almost to herself.
When Hope brought out slices of pumpkin pie with whipped cream and coffee, and Dean groaned with pleasure.
“Aren’t you happy I made us stop?” He asked Beka with a pie-covered smile.
I’m so happy right now I could vomit.” Beka said with a grin. “I will burst if I eat another bite.”
“Me too.” Sam agreed.
“Sweet,” Dean said happily. “But I think we should hit the road.”
They tried to tip the waitress but she refused, saying they were going to close for the night. The three hunters piled back into the Impala, stomachs full, faith in humanity restored, and ready to fight another day.
When the Impala was out of sight, the diner disappeared as though it had never existed. Hope morphed into Chuck, who was happy he could answer this one prayer. “Thanks, guys.” He said before he too vanished.
Currently, I’m working on a fluffy Dean fic with everyone’s favorite, Charlie, but I also have a thrilling, surviving trapped in cabin against werewolves fic in the works. Oh, and a soulmate au brewing (added to my billion other wips, lol). Basically, I’m bouncing around like crazy, lol in the writing, but let’s go with fluff.
