I was thinking about Stoick's "Find whatever it is that's pulling on you." in Imperfect Harmony... and like, how even after RTTE, in HTTYD2, he's still wrangling with his identity. Work in progress, after all.

But I also wanted to say, that narratively speaking, it would have made so much more sense for Valka and Hiccup to have found each other during RTTE.

Be a fun AU.

Like, he's out there on the Edge, talking with his mom, and trying to convince her to see Stoick.

More family drama, basically. As if Hiccup doesn't already deal with enough with Heather and Dagur.

Oh, man, you know what would be fun? If Stoick comes to the Edge for whatever reason, and like, there's his long-lost wife there in the Clubhouse cuddling their son's dragon.

Thing is, while Snotlout is vocal and loud when pulling the typical cousin shenanigans, Hiccup does them too but in a deviously silent way.

Like getting Snotlout to dip his tongue in night fury saliva or putting a lot more flammable gel on his coccoon than anybody else's or not even batting an eye at the other practically having a panic attack as he pairs him up with one of the most feared dragons based on aesthetic alone or appointing him the bait for smothering smokebreaths on Breakneck Bog.

They are both equally vicious when it comes to being cousins

I’m pretty sure Hiccup just barged into the others’ huts

I don’t care what you say a small part of the reason Spitelout was against the gang going was for their own safety

One of my favorite scenes will always be them having to yell to communicate

I love how even Ruff will question Tuff

Fishlegs trying to break the amber with a stick is so funny to me

Hiccup saying “nobody move” while they’re stuck is totally his way of messing with them

Almost Dying, it’s so much fun!

The real question: is it one Barf and Belch or two?

Huh, look at Spitelout speaking for peace and tranquility. Might also be a defense of staying the same, aka, in a system he knows how to work, violent but peaceful, but it’s still not a stance I expected him to take.
