Every time I say I have reached my yarn purchase limit for the month, I find a colorway labeled “one of a kind.”

Or a colorway that looks like owls. Or a whole series named “[insert adjective] Beaver” and even though I laugh a lot it’s still exactly my aesthetic and I must have them. Or I’m sad and a yarn I like is on sale. Or a yarn club that’s moon phase themed. Or even though it looks boring-ish in the photo, I keep coming back to it and I’m rewarded with the most beautiful copper/purple hues I didn’t know existed. Or I drunk text my alpaca yarn dealer. Or I open Etsy by accident. Or …
