youre so so right about odd squad, and ill be thinking about it

stuff i watched a ton of as a kid were handy manny, chuggington, and both barbie and bratz movies, though equestria girls is also super super good when i wanna be small. dunno what hermits any of those make me think of tho :(

Handy Manny: Completely going on vibes, I feel like it is quite Bdubs and Tango. The way that Handy Manny is feels very much like Bdubs and Tango. Gem and False are a big fan of the tools, I remember the tools bugging each other all the time and when it comes to annoying friends they enjoy that.

Chuggington: I feel the same about this show as I do Thomas the Tank Engine and it would 100% be a Keralis show, especially after watching his Create series. Impulse is also a fan because its trains.

I do fear I have great correlation between engineering and construction to redstone. Redstone is Minecraft engineering, is it not?

Barbie Movies: (This is talking about the 2000s-2010s Barbie movies not THE Barbie Movie) There is so many Barbie movies I feel like everyone has one that they like at least a little if they admit it or not. Barbie Nutcracker is 100% a yearly watch in the holiday season. There has definitely been a group watch through of all of them that totally wasn't started by Gem and Lizzie and very quickly gained a lot of people.

This is everyone's favorite that they will admit to

JoeHills: Barbie: Fairytopia & Mermaidia. Bibble is the most Joe Hills character that has ever Joe Hills'ed

Gem: Barbie in a Mermaid Tale. This isn't projecting (total not my favorite barbie movie) She loves the water and total try to get Lizzie to dye her hair after finishing the movie. They were busted by Joel and Impulse. Also Princess Charm School because of her Empires s1 bit as a magic educator.

Cleo: Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princess. It's a classic and beautiful fashion. A Fairy Secret is a very close second.

Pearl: Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar. Everyone tried to get her to like Princess and the Pauper as much as she likes this movie but it hasn't worked yet.

Lizzie (not a Hermit but I do what I want): Barbie and the Three Musketeers. Super girl power movie and she loves the kitty side kick.

Imp & Skizz: Barbie & the Diamond Castle. They love the scene of those dogs dancing the 2000s animation style really does it. And the rest of the movie is great too.

Bdubs: Will not admit to liking any specific movie but will consistently sing the Preminger "It's a temporary setback" song from Princess & The Pauper. He's not alone in this but he's the only one that would get caught.

Equestria Girls: Bdubs. He doesn't care, a horse is a horse. He did drag Etho into it, and Etho is in it now.

I never watched the Bratz movies so I don't know what they are about/who would like them so have a bonus.

Monster High (Kinda in the same realm of Barbie & Bratz): Easy answer, Cleo, obviously!! I feel like Ren would also enjoy this (Werewolf!Ren anybody?)

Can we tell which piece of media here I loved most as a child? Its definitely the one I didn't stop talking about.

impulse is a flip. the only issue is he refuses to admit it, he always feels so guilty for regressing he won't even admit to doing it. after all, he's the strong, responsible, dependable cg. he's always supposed to be big. so he regresses as infrequently as possible and alone (no matter how much he wants someone to take care of him)

this all comes to a head, when tango finds him regressed, panicked, alone, and obviously in need of some love and care giving. all of this will be discussed when impulse is big, but for now tango's got to show a tiny impy the care he deserves.

ZITS surprisingly can't stay regressed around each other for long.

Their banter always accidentally brings adulthood back to the surface, which is frustrating for all of them because they keep trying to have playdates.

The best solution they've found is to have one of them stay big and babysit because it gives their rascal energy a focus.

Impulse loves his fun costumes and outfits, but at the end of the day, nothing beats settling down for a movie in an old T-shirt and shorts.

little impy has a demon-shaped weighted plushie. skizz gave it to him and it's name is dippy (like skizz's nickname for impulse. dippledop). one time he was playin with it and it got ripped and he was really sad abt it so skizz tried his best to sew it back together but it didn't look super neat, so he tied a little golden bow around the part that was ripped! impulse will treasure it forever <3

Little Impulse still likes playing scary games with friends. Somehow, he's even less scared while regressed. He thinks the monsters and his friends shrieking are all very silly. Poor Skizz follows him around the whole game trying to make sure he's ok and all he gets for his trouble is being laughed at. (He doesn't really mind as long as little Impy is happy)

After hearing on the Imp and Skizz podcast how much of a mentor Skizz was to him, and that Skizz sometimes calls his son by Imp's name on accident, I can't get caretaker Skizz and Little Impulse out of my head.

Like, sometimes Impulse just wants to be taken care of and guided like the old days (whatever the Minecraft version of that part of their lives would be), and he's feeling small and soft and sensitive, and Skizz is all over that. He totally takes it on like it's nothing. Toys, playtime, snacks, the whole shebang. Skizz is also super protective of lil Imp. Nothing and no one is going to hurt the little as long as he can help it.

There's a level of comfort that comes from being around someone you've known for that long. Skizz knows Impulse well, and knows how to make sure he feels safe. Impulse is comfortable enough to let Skizz know when he needs that.

Impulse regressing around zits crew head canons!

He's cheery and giggly as a little, very easily entertained by his friend's antics. He's also entertained by his own mischief, which doubles while small. There's nothing like seeing his friends react to his pranks or silliness.

Zits love how silly he can get, even if sometimes it means him spooking them or making messes. Sometimes during a good day, they can get him to tire himself out on giggles and make naptime easy.

This is good bc his overworker tendencies as an adult transfer over as a very restless and curious kiddo who Hates being told to stop what he's doing unless the new thing is equally or more interesting.

He's also extra sensitive. Poor baby cries easily. He's not big on cuddles unless it's with a stuffie or blankets, but he likes being picked up, even though big Impulse gets embarrassed by it. Lil Impy NEEDS positive reinforcement and delights over making people happy and helping, so naturally if someone gets upset with him, his whole day is ruined.

Grumpy baby Impulse comes about from: too much teasing, not enough sleep, things not working how he wants them to, etc.

Skizz and Tango are his "uncles". Zed isn't exactly opposed to the term for himself, but it does make him feel old. Skizz is actually fairly paternal about it, he can get protective over lil Impy- which Tango thinks is funny and endearing- but he IS still a best friend and as such is obligated to tease the little guy, albeit in a gentler way.

Joker (from jits streams) eventually is let in on it and he's more of an older sibling figure who is constantly encouraging Impulse's mischief. There's a bit going on where Joker also gets put in time out for things despite not being regressed himself, which everyone gets a laugh out of, and it keeps Impulse from always listening to his bad influence.

I'm gonna be giggling about Joker being put in time out for ages. I can imagine him protesting, all indignant, and Impulse giggling hysterically when Tango and Skizz add 5 more minutes to his time out for backtalk.
