HI! Bajulate for Arjun and Yudhisthir, Bonifate for Arjun and Krishn?
Hi! @incurablescribbler , thanks for these asks, I had a lot of fun writing these!
Bajulate: to bear a heavy burden
Arjun and Yudhishthir
There was a profound solace in returning back to the embrace of nature, even if in a Vanavas, something reassuring his agitated soul when it needed comforting the most. The winds carrying the melodies of birds residing in these greens, whistling between the trunks, granted Paarth a much welcomed distraction from the memories suffocating his heart. He tried to fixate on the familiar sights, the familiar sounds, the familiar feelings. Of simpler times, with their modesty and guileless charm. When he would have followed him to the ends of the earth, clearing out his path from the hurdles, thorns and perils that might trouble him. But now... NO, he can never even dare to think that. He can not abandon him, the mere thought will take his own life. The horrors and cries of the recent past threatened to spill over his eyes, but he maintained his composure. He hadn't trusted his emotions to be even, and thus he had chosen to walk in the forefront, on the lookout, so that no one would be worried for him.
He still caught himself looking out for stray stones and thorns in the trail Bhratashree was walking on, wincing when he became aware of his actions. He used to approach him with an easy smile and find him returning it fondly, but now, even looking him in the eyes was painful, the wounds still too raw. All of them were the culprits of Krishnaa. And it had fractured their resolve, their strength and their trusts. Something had changed between them now, something was broken, he didn't know what and he couldn't restore it, no matter how hard he tried. He was helpless. For the first time in his life, he who bore the name of Vijaya, longed for help, for hope.
A chasm has suddenly emerged between them and Bhratashree, a suspicion that never even crossed his devoted mind had become a nightmarish reality- the Samrat was gone, somewhere his own brothers could not reach out to, a distance so vast that no matter how much he called out for his Bhratashree, his cries would not reach him, just lost in the silence. The Samrat was always present before his eyes, but the act of talking to him was now a trial, his words so heavy that they refused to be spoken. It seemed as the Samrat was rather encouraging them to maintain their distance, always keeping out of their reach, but whom was this supposed to protect, he wondered. The realization that Bhratashree recognized their estrangement, was excruciating.
A silent suffering, where he couldn't even cry out of pain, stifling his voice while his heart was bleeding. Every sacrifice was to reduce the pains of his family, to help heal them. Anything to distract himself from the forebodings plaguing his mind, the emotions he denied so vehemently. But they are still there, as clear as the truth. That his heart felt shackled to a burden which threatened to drown it, dragging it deeper and deeper into a bottomless ocean, choking his breath, but he was afraid to let go of it, he could never. For with it he would lose the will to swim upwards, lose the hope of returning to the surface and the strength to struggle for his life too. He keeps his grief, his wounds close to his heart, and he believes they will heal, but the ache of these scars will have to stay, so they can guide him to redemption. For if he forgets this pain, he will lose his goals, his path. Now, he needs this burden to survive...
Bonifate: lucky; fortunate
Arjun and Krishna
From far away, they seemed like two close friends, that was it. Coming a little nearer made it crystal-clear that the previous assumption, while truthful, was an injustice to the relationship. A forced summary of their bond. A friendship indeed, for the relation of friends was sacred. But how to tell the two sides of this companionship? How to tell who was the one who jumped to sacrifice himself for the other? How to tell who spent all his thoughts being concerned about the other? Who was the one who smiled as though he possessed all the bliss in the entire Trilok and who was the one who secured that smile in the depths of his heart as his only and most cherished treasure?
The sight of both the Krishna together had the same impression as seeing the dusky, ashen clouds of rainstorm, bringing relief on the faces of some, those who thirsted for hope, while the thundering brought terror to those who tried to overpower them, the rain soothing the pains of some while the winds passed swiftly, unbeholden to the eyes. They moved on as the storm clouds- Dusky like the most temperamental ones, kaleidoscopic as the ones which were inseparable, creating a mosaic of light and dark, unrestrained as the airy ones which were not tied to any place and indomitable as the inevitable ones which came to flood the lands.
They had gazes that sought only each other, the winds seemed their accomplice for they conveyed the words passed between them to no other soul. Was it this bliss that those who devoted their soul to austerities felt? Was it this fortune that they asked for as blessings? This perfect harmony with the one you cherished, no doubt in your heart, and peace, everlasting peace. To have what they shared would be more precious than moksha. Sang the hearts of those who witnessed their bond-
Fortunate was the Paarth who found his adoring companion in the lotus eyed one with voice as soft as a flute's song, blessed was he to be beloved by the Manmohana, the winner of every heart himself.
Fortunate was the Ghanashyama who gained the pious, untainted friendship of the ambidextrous wielder of Gandiva, the one adorned with dark curls, blessed was Kanha to recieve the selfless devotion of Arjun, the undefeated one graced in pure white.

Hi! Anne Boleyn, Mary Tudor and/or Sulochana for the character asks, please?
Anne Boleyn
How I feel about this character: Possibly Henry VIII’s most dynamic queen. She was an intelligent and ardent reformist, with a passionate temperament and while she might not have been the nicest person, but her execution was certainly a gross miscarriage of justice.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Thomas Cromwell & Henry VIII in @mihrsuri’s OT3 verse. Other than that, no real strong ships for her.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Anyone in this gifset, because despite popular perception Anne had a lot of close female relationships. Her and George Boleyn.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I like both her and Mary Tudor.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That she’d lived! That she’d gotten to have more of a relationship with her daughter.
Mary Tudor
How I feel about this character: Probably the character I’ve written the most centric fic about. She’s not a popular character by any means, but I think it’s very interesting to explore how the Reformation and her father’s various marriages affected her, and it’s impossible not to feel sympathy for her childhood/young adulthood.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Philip of Bavaria.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Her mother. Her siblings. Anne Boleyn. Thomas Cromwell in @mihrsuri‘s OT3 verse. Her and her female ladies, especially Susan Clarencieux.
My unpopular opinion about this character: By the standards of her time she wasn’t any more bloodthirsty or tyrannical as a monarch than others.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That she’d gotten to reign longer, as I think she’d have had more of a chance to implement her religious and economic reforms properly, and history would have been kinder if she had a longer period of time to her name.
Sulochana/Pramila
How I feel about this character: There’s not a lot in canon to go off of her, but her backstory hints at so many complicated relationships. She’s the daughter of Sheshnag, which means she’s Lakshmana’s daughter and widowed by her own father. She’s also the twin sister of Sunaina, Sita’s mother; they were separated at birth and Sunaina was raised by Parvati while Sulochana was raised in Naga-Loka, making her Sita’s aunt. Folk songs also tell us that Sulochana had a lot of faith in her husband’s bravery, and I’ve seen stories that they eloped and married for love. I personally headcanon her as being very elegant, and very devoted to her husband.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Indrajit.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Mandodari. Sunaina.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I guess just having an opinion about her is unpopular? But I’ve seen some interpretations that Indrajit was the unsung hero of the Ramayana, for his undying loyalty to his father, and while I find him (and Sulochana) interesting as characters, I still view them as morally gray because they supported Ravana despite him kidnapping an innocent woman.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That we get to see more of her in canon!
The 'rose for a line from a random wip' ask, please? I'm sorry that I could not send the emoji, my mom has my phone.
"In his own twisted way of thinking, Mauvoisin must have felt that murdering his son was a necessary sacrifice for the greater cause," Athos answered from where he was leaning against the door of the office. "For men like Mauvoisin, family reputation comes before everything else. Even the family itself."
(Yes, I know the ask was for a single line, but I couldn't resist and my hand slipped 😅)
A follow up piece to The Musketeers Season 1 Episode 5, "The Homecoming"
Hi, PS, I hope your weekend is better than the weekdays were! For the movie ask, Om Shanti Om? Or Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, whichever you prefer.
Hello!
I’m holding out for the weekend and praying for all the good things :) Thanks for the wishes!!
Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
It’s a beautiful movie and I tend to like movies with the grand aesthetic. It’s a great example of was it love or just hormones? When I was younger I hated Ajay Devgn’s character and now I’m like ... wow ... he stuck around and put up with all her bullshit. The man’s a legend give him an award (tho him trying to get it on with her the morning after their wedding was cringe).
I liked Aishwarya Rai as Nandini but didn’t like Nandini herself -- that scene where she’s telling her mother that Sameer touched her here, and here, and here was so creepy like wow ... Why did she even fall for him I mean, he didn’t even speak Italian and he ran off to ... Hungary ... and pretended it was Italy???
The soundtrack and choreography were amazing, I never got over Tadap Tadap!
5/10 two bonus points because Arnav-ji emulated scenes from it.
Hello! My canon divergence fic turned into a veritable behemoth, can I publish it in two chapters? On different days? I might not be able to submit the whole thing on time. Would just the first chapter on the requisite day suffice?
Absolutely! You can post your content whenever you’re done with it, don’t feel forced to rush. Also a note to everyone in general, the events-per-day are there as a guideline, not as a strict rule — if you have content you want to submit later, or before, just feel free to tag us.
Tri di! Perfume, Candles, Ink and Leather for the dark academia asks, please?
Hi Nilaaa <3 Thank you for asking!
Perfume: Scent of choice, whether it be a perfume/candle or just in general? Jasmines. Always jasmines. They're so hard to get, just that scent but when I find it, I always finish the entire bottle.
Candles: Favorite quote? Oh god, I’m about to be so corny and say one from the Gita buuuuut... “Ma suchaha.” It means, don’t worry. Basically Krishna says, “Don’t worry, I’m here.” It soothes my soul. <3
Ink: Favorite dead language? I don’t know about favorite, but the one that I have most intrigue towards is the language of the Indus Valley Civilization that we haven't cracked yet! As an anthropologist, it both intrigues me and frustrates me to no end.
Leather: Favorite book(s)? What makes them special? I have a couple!
1. My all time favorite is my Pardada’s Gitaji. It was recently gifted to me by my Pappa (my father) when I was going through a really tough time. He said that his Dada (his grandfather) had given it to him when he went through a tough time, and it would provide me solace and comfort. Pappa said that it held my Pardada’s blessings and would help me. I like to think it does.
2. Before I get too watery eyed, my second fav is my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows because I got it signed by the Golden Trio and Jo (but we don’t talk about her).
3. Finally, I have a version of the Ramayan written by a really dear friend who never published it! He is a published author but never published this version and there are only a few “copies” in existence. I am very lucky to hold one of them!
Thank you for asking lovely! I’m about to ask you a few on anon too!
For the Greek Myth asks, Atalanta and Sun Chariot?
Atlanta: Have you ever stood up for someone else?
Sun Chariot: What is your favorite mythological creature?
...
Atlanta: I don't know if this counts as standing up but I did have a screaming match with someone because they made my friend cry. This one time in college, we were working on the department's monthly magazine and one of our team mates was typing up something. She wasn't really used to typing because she doesn't have a computer at home, so she was going really slowly and carefully. Another team member made fun of her for that, made her cry, and I blew a gasket 😬
Sun Chariot: I'm kinda partial towards Pegasus! I grew up reading Percy Jackson, and there's a pegasus character in it called Blackjack who absolutely won over my heart! ♥️
