Hello! Some people might know this monument as one of The Seven Wonders of the world. It is the "Taj Mahal"

- don't read further if you love the "love story" Of Shah Jahan and Mumtaj

I really admire this monument. It is very beautiful. It is a wonderful monument and pride to our India🇮🇳

But I can't really accept when people say that this is the "symbol of true love" and shit like that.

BECAUSE!!!

Okay, as I was saying. If you believed or made to believe "oh! Shah Jahan is the best lover in the world! Oh! How lovely of him to build an entire monument for his beloved wife. Shah Jahan and Mumtaj are the best couple. It's a tragedy that she died" and blah blah blah....

Then, Your life has been a GODDAMNED LIE

I'll tell you why BUT BEFORE THAT these boys should stop saying

"Shah Jahan has built Taj Mahal for his wife. But has any girl did anything for their lover? Boys are always the one that sacrifices every thing for his girl. Oh god! These girls are always cheating on boys. Girls are just gold diggers"

(👆these kind of dialogues are found in very dramatic and cringy love failure indian movies)

OH GOD PLEASE STOP! Y'all should stop this shit.....what I'm about to say might shock you (or maybe not)

And I am going to reveal some dark things about this monument..

The first point - Shah Jahan had ten wives excluding Mumtaj

Quandahari Begum was his first wife. She gave birth to two daughters from Shah Jahan.

She is buried in Qandahari bagh in agra built by her in 1628. She was very close to Shah Jahan after Mumtaz Mahals death even becoming his constant companion during his time in prison in his last years.

Princess Manbhavati Bajji Lal Sahiba was his second wife. She had one daughter.

Arjumand Bano Begum aka Mumtaz Mahal was his third wife. She died while giving birth to their daughter Gauhar Banu Begum and is buried in Taj Mahal

Akbarabadi Mahal also known as Izz un Nissa Begum was fourth wife of Shah Jahan. She gave birth to a son

Fatehpuri Mahal was fifth wife of Shah Jahan.  She built Fatehpuri Mosque. She was a companion in Shah Jahan's old age and prison life.

Sixth wife was Qudisa Begum

Seventh wife was Rajkumari Lilavati baiji Lal Sahiba daughter of Rao Shri Sakath Singh

Eight wife was Sarhinidi Begum

Muti Begum sahiba

Widow of Jamal Khan a Mansabdar of mughal empire

Some article states that he had only 2 wives before Mumtaj. But there is whole list of wives in the internet

- AND, I just found this:

Mughal rulers that is Akbar and his son Jahangir and Jahangir's son being the one we are talking about "Shah Jahan", had Kannij. Which means sex slaves. Every Mughal ruler had a kannij of their own. And so Shah Jahan had them to.

- Jahangir (father of Shah Jahan) had twenty wives. Like father,like son. Right?

- those days kings were marrying hundreds of girls just so they can conquer the empires of their father-in-laws. I guess marrying more than one girl is normal. But it's not in this generation. And it's illegal and a crime

Now what "Mr. Best boyfriends of the world", do you want your girls to get 11 husbands..

I know you girls are really happy right now. And there is more. Those who want to roast your boyfriends please stay. I promise this gets better(and darker). And who hates this already, please just... Leave

The second point - Mumtaj died when she gave birth to her FOURTEENTH CHILD. she died of postpartum haemorrhage which caused considerable blood loss after painful labor of THIRTY HOURS. Who makes their wife suffer like this if they truly loved her

The third point - some articles states whether Taj Mahal was built of love or built of guilt. Now let me explain.

Mumtaj was a very cunning, ambitious and and intelligent woman.

The sorting hat would sort her into Slytherin just by seeing her cunning face.

So, ANYWAYS, she started involving herself into the administration and started giving advices and ideas about the administration

So either of this would have happened

Shah Jahan got really jealous of her being very intelligent and might have killed her.

Or Shah Jahan thought that she might throw him out of the throne and she would take over the throne and might have killed her.

Or Shah Jahan didn't like her involving in the administration because she is a woman and might have killed her.

Or Shah Jahan didn't want her to be a superior to him and tell him what to do and might have killed her

These are just my theories. I don't know if they are real. She might have died after she gave birth or someone might have killed her. We don't know that but I did not say that this is not true love or anything.

I just said this because many men and actors are/were talking so low of women's love using Shah Jahan as their "example". And I can't just sit here knowing everything.

Now girls be like:

Boyfriends: HAVE YOU EVER DONE ANYTHING NICE TO ME! SHAH JAHAN HAS BUILT TAJ MAHAL FOR HIS WIFE. HAVE YOU GIRLS EVER DONE ANYTHING TO BOYS.

Girls: yeah! I am planning on doing something like Shah Jahan.

Boyfriends: *happily* and what is that?

Girls: I am going to marry 11 boys and I am going to make one of them my favorite and make them bleed for 30 hrs and build a big monument using the most expensive stones from all over the world and cut off the thumbs of the slaves who worked for me so that they cannot copy "my" design and I am going to steal all the fame for building the monument.

Boyfriends: *jaws dropped*

Girls: isn't it just the sweetest thing to do? Everyone's gonna call our love "the true love"

I just posted this because I can't stand men talking so low about women's love.

Women can love just same as men and they sacrifice as much as men do.

Please don't mention Taj Mahal as a "symbol of love" and Shah Jahan and Mumtaj as the "best couple in the world".

I know Mumtaj is Shah Jahan's "favorite" among all his wives.

There are many articles about the mystery of Taj Mahal and the tragedy of Mumtaj

Please don't let anyone talk bad about women and research many things during this pandemic and share it to the world

I know I am going to receive so much hate for this but I can't be sitting quite with knowing all this and let people talk nasty about women's love.
