A few months ago I had a nightmare I was hiking in the desert at night, I tripped and fell into a pit full of rattlesnakes. Fast forward a few months late, it actually happened. While out for a hike alone last night, there was loud buzzing sound, I thought maybe it was hornets or wasps. I had my earbuds on listening to a podcast. Stopping momentarily to hear the buzzing sound, before continuing. I lost my footing and tripped over a rock. Next thing you know, I found this guy slithering a few feet from my face. Lucky for me I had my headlamp on at the time.
